Politics is essentially a risky business. So why not bet on it as well?
Voting shouldn't be risk free. It should be like stocks where people place money into the votes, and if things work, they get money back, it it doesn't they lose their money.
That way there is accountability. People will actually think before they vote.
When something is actually at sake, people will think harder about it.
Of course there needs to be a low minimum to put in, so that poor people can participate as well. So maybe the minimum is 100 bucks. The more you put in, the more you can win back. Just like the stock market.
This will fix democracy!!!
