this is still unclear, tsunade hadn't told anyone if he was alive, even tough everyone keep asking her... We can only hope right now.

What really impressed me though was the way Naruto reacted when he couldn't sense Kakashi's chakra, and reacted like that, concentrated on the fight, instead of unleashing his rage on Pain, recklessly.

It seems he won something that in my opinion he needed as much as Sage Mode. He grew up.

Your bringing up an important point there Hiruzen, this is once again a step closer to sasuke. Now naruto will be able to take the best decision without taking his emotion nto consideration. That's something huge!
