Hasirama: All we saw against EMS madara.


One thing is sure, that CURRENT MADARA is stronger than EMS MADARA, but, is he stronger than hashirama?

the only reason he is above him is because when they was fighting before madara didnt have the rennigan then and he didnt have cells from the 1st either. unless the 1st have cells from an uchiha or something i dont know what he can do again madara at this point.

Where did he have a hard time with Madara? You mean the time where he solo'd Kurama and Susanoo, or the time where he stabbed Madara in the back? Maybe that one time when he caught a tbb and rammed it back into Madara's susanoo. Hashi wasn't even serious until half way in the fight... :|

No...wouldn't it just be EMS Madara? Due to the fact that Kurama was his weapon...same way one utilizes a sword, no? You wouldn't say Kenshin Himura + Double edged blade VS would you? Rhetorical of course, but Kurama while under Madaras control was just an extension of himself...so imho it's EMS Madara vs Hashirama at the VOTE. Besides isn't Kurama Madaras summon? Just asking I believe he actually tried to summon him, correct? No disrespect, but Kurama is to be classified as a sword/weapon that Madara utilized.:yayy:

Well...he did almost die didn't he? Just wondering...imho I believe Hashirama was very serious. I believe it's his attitude to be that way during battle. Look at how quick he acted once Obito and the Juubi became one. All just my opinion of course and I'm in no way trying to argue or disrespect you.

I'd normally agree with this, if it weren't for the fact that Madara actually showed up himself, essentially taking over for Obito as the main leading figure of the war to continually push his plan. If Madara had remained a shadowy figure all throughout, I'd agree that Obito is the main antagonist, but the fact remains that he actually showed up himself and his character is even fully explored to solidify his presence. Not to mention, Madara's influence is ultimately what led Obito to do the things he did. Despite being more prominently shown in the series, Obito is treated almost as a second-in-command to Madara. This is very evident in the way they interact each other. Sure Obito is doing this based on his own reasons, but it ultimately makes him an enforcer of Madara's plans and not necessarily based on his own separate one. Heck he even pretended to be "Madara" on behalf of Madara, so Madara's presence and influence is definitely felt throughout the series even before his actual in-person appearance. While I agree that Madara can technically be considered as the main antagonist of the series, I think that Obito's role as a major antagonist should still be noted (just like with Orochimaru and Nagato)

No? Hashi tricked him making him thing he almost died, when Madara was fighting a Mokuton clone the entire time until being stabbed in the back. He became serious after summoning the Buddha statue. Before, he was merely on the defense.

this line makes it seem as if hashi cowardly attacked madara 'in the back'..
I admit that hashi is quite strong but madara long surpassed him.
Madara with rinnegan and hashis own cell.
Maybe if madara had fought seriously in this war arc, Hashirama would have said wat he said bout the juubi jin.
