This is an interesting post with a lot of well constructed arguments, and it's definitely a subject I think about often. Obviously, the answer to this question is highly subjective, and I don't believe there is a single right answer. I like reading everyone's opinion on the matter, though, and I hope this discussion goes on.

Thanks for taking the time to to participate in this thread, and for the well thought out responses. I've been reading a lot of the discussion going on here, and was sure to take some notes.

Wait a minute!

Before I even get hyped for a movie that'll be released in some months, was Kishi the executive producer for The Last? I don't think so as the only thing he did was draw the designs and tell the studio that Naruto has this power and that. If his position in this movie is more involved then it is going to be amazing. Well, amazing is pushing it basically it'll go back to its roots about fighting and life lessons.

No romance, but possibly plotholes since this is Kishi we're talking about
