You know what the fundamental flaw is with power scales/stats like this? The fact that these numbers mean absolutely f*cking nothing as there is no predetermined baseline stat or a predetermined max stat. For example, there is no indicator nor is there anyway for us to assume what the "average" max stat is. Is 100 supposed to represent the maximum denominator for these stats? That would be the logical assumption but since these stats are all over the place, often surpassing 100, then there is no clear concept of what these numbers even mean.

If you set the denominator at 100 and the average at 50, then anyone with a stat around 50 would be considered to be average—or in other words, if someone had a strength stat of 50/100 then that shinobi would in concept be able to handle most scenarios requiring strength as he/she would have average strength for a shinobi. While if someone had 100 strength, they would be on some next level shit by comparison to the average. These stats have neither a max nor an average (lmao, and to make it worse Naruto's official chakra stat is a mystery) so for all we know Average Joe could have a strength stat of 100. Going beyond that, power levels like this also do not work because you cannot simply lump everyone together and hold them to the same stats—one persons max strength could be another persons lowest—a very good example of this is just to look at the "intelligence" stats from these three: Naruto has 90, Sasuke 100, and Sakura 174. Without assuming any average or max stat, these still make no f*cking sense. Sasuke has shown time and time again his greatest asset is his ability to strategize on the fly and use his abilities to compliment that. Yet he is just barely above Naruto (and idiot when it comes to strategy) and he is far below Sakura (who I dont recall ever strategizing in a fight). Does that mean we should compare their stats to each other, or look at their stats for their own? Naruto's 90 may simply represent his own personal scale as opposed to being intended to compare to Sasuke's 100. Etc.

In short: f*ck arbitrary stats, they ruin franchises.

Yea, Naruto would only run out when plot required it. Which means there's no way Naruto was going to run out of chakra while he still had the MC crown. While Sasuke had events in which his chakra was blatantly depleting and was trying not to run out to not get killed (vs Killer Bee). This is exactly why Naruto gets the title of being the best and worst anime. It has great parts, but the bad parts are just so tremendous that it becomes extremely difficult remembering all the other good parts, and now you're torn between liking and hating it because of the immense kindergarten shit they keep pulling.

Just hoping that nothing gets spilled over to Boruto.
