Volleyball questions

Currently in school we've been playing Volleyball and I have some questions regarding it. Also I'm watching the best sports anime (followed by KnB) called Haikyuu lol so I really enjoy Volleyball lately.

1. Do you really rotate in a game, or does anyone have a specific position? Because I prefer being a Setter or Spiker but our teacher says we always have to rotate so that everyone plays a position at least once.

2. If you have some knowledge, what position do you think would fit me the best? I can jump very high, that's why I like being a Spiker, but I also love to give passes and have a good vision for it because I'm a Point Guard in Basketball. ^^

I don't watch Volleyball but in school we rotated also.

You always rotate within a game so you get to play all of the positions and you should take the center front since you are good at spiking.

You rotate in volleyball when you win the back service of the opposition I believe.
