ALL THINGS. A whisper as loud as a scream.

The Void Specter did not respond. Its whispers went silent after Isabella spoke. It just continued to glare at her, its eyes radiating purple energy as it did. These were no ordinary eyes, and they were fixated on Isabella. If she were to shift slightly in the waters they would follow even the most subtle movements. Even as she breathed in the air within the vision it tracked the movement of her chest rising and then contracting as her lungs processed the oxygen and carbon dioxide.

OCEAN. The cosmos, quietly moving forward through its lifecycle.

With its Dōjutsu the Specter created a snake of Void energy that formed around its ghastly arm. It seemed that the eyes themselves called upon the Void, though it wasn't information that would be readily available to Isabella yet. The serpent had the same body as the Void Specter itself, and coiled around its arm as it hissed and watched. It kept its eyes trained on Isabella as well, waiting and watching.

COSMIC. Nothing and everything.

And then it lunged at her.

(Dōjutsu: Eien no Mizumi) – Eye Technique: Eternal Lake
Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60 + 0 = 60
Description: The basic technique of the [REDACTED INFORMATION] Spatial abilities; it is able to call energy directly from the Void itself, wielded by the user as a weapon or defensively. Eternal Lake is the basic application of this Spatial ability, and it possesses all of the intrinsic characteristics of the Void itself. Because of this it is imbued with a small level of Chaos. The user can, through their mind, shape the Void as they wish. It appears as a dark purple and blue energy, appearing as a mix of Fire and Water Release in terms of its behavior. When this technique is used the chaotic nature of it has a chance to randomly increase its damage potential. It has a 33% chance to increase its damage by nothing, by 20, and by 40 respectively. Those that witness its usage directly lose 3 Sanity.

Isabella felt it in the air as the whisper as loud as a scream permeated the Vision of the Void Tree, but felt it even more deeply as the Specter's mumblings became completely silent. This was it, yet nothing Isabella could think of resembled what that attack was. She felt it through her core, the serpent made of the strange purple water wasn't composed of chakra or spiritual energies. It was composed of something else entirely, something out of this world. Out of the corner of her eyes, she could feel the searing gaze of the specter, and the eerie poise of the serpent.

And as it lunged, Isabella's feet burst outwards with a blasting jet of ash so hot it radiated white light at the core of the solid flames of the Great Blaze Ball. Igniting the Litmus Fist with her fire chakra, she propelled herself out of the serpent's path, while creating a maelstrom of ash and solid flame that burst into the Eternal Lake creation, and overpowered it with pure explosive energy, empowered by the Void Artifact Magatama at Isabella's neck.

(Nintaijutsu: Ritomasu Fisuto) Ninja Body Art: Litmus Fist
Type: Supplementary/ Offensive
Rank: A-Rank
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 30 (Plus up to an additional 30 Chakra each turn)
Damage: 60 (80)
Description: Developed as a form of Taijutsu supplement, Litmus Fist carries on the concepts of it's parent technique, Litmus Finger, into new fields of use on a much larger, more focused scale. Where the parent technique was focused on creativity and speed through lack of any Hand Seals, this technique is solely focused on collaboration with almost any form or stance of Taijutsu in close quarters combat, especially Free-Form Taijutsu. The user begins by gathering a large amount of Chakra and distributing it equally throughout their body. Once this is done, the user then performs Taijutsu actions, motions, movements, etc, releasing the gathered Chakra in conjunction with them. Just like with the parent technique, these Taijutsu actions and motions are physically representative of the nature of an Element (An example of this would be using friction to perform Fire Release, or fluid motions for Water Release, etc.), which cause the Chakra to take on the properties of, and change into that Element. From there, the user applies Shape Manipulation and the same level of creative freedom from the parent technique to perform various kinds of Ninjutsu enhanced Taijutsu actions, either creating the Element they wish to use from their own Chakra, or using their Chakra to manipulate existing sources, like a nearby source of Water, or the ground beneath their feet, however, any and all offensive actions involving an existing source must originate from within Short Range of the user, same with Elements created by the user. Additionally, the user is able to utilize all canon forms/ states for the Elements they perform, for example, if they use Fire Release they could use ash, or flammable mist, however, the state or form of any attack performed via this technique cannot be changed once released, as the Chakra has already left the body, and been given form.

The user can split the Chakra Pool from this Jutsu into as many attacks they wish to perform, within reason, so the user can perform 1 A-Rank, or 2 B-Rank, etc, or even a combination of different ranked attacks, like 1 B-Rank and 2 C-Rank, etc. However with each division of the Chakra used, so too does each individual action logically lose power, although, this drawback is arguably the Jutsu's best quality, due to fact that the Nature of the users Chakra is only changed when released in conjunction with Taijutsu actions. This allows the user to swiftly and accurately shift between multiple Elements, performing extremely unique combinations of Elements, easily creating their own "style", simply by performing a series of basic actions and combing the Elements those actions unleash. Additionally, at the start of each turn for the duration of this technique the user can expend Chakra equivalent to the amount of Chakra utilized up until that point, restoring the Chakra they have for this technique back up to it's max. Although this action can easily end up eating through the users Chakra reserves, this ensures they can maintain the Jutsu for it's maximum turn limit, receiving the most from this Jutsu in return for the high cost required to maintain it. Finally, while the Chakra for this technique is gathered and prepared throughout the user's body, as it is yet to be molded, repurposed and released into an actual attack, the user can perform other Jutsu whilst this one is active, without consuming the Chakra pool gathered for this technique, however, this cannot be done simultaneously while the user is releasing an attack from this technique, as they are logically using their Chakra to shape that attack and cannot divert neither their attention, nor Chakra flow between multiple techniques.

Note: The user can keep this technique active for a max of 4 turns, and must wait 2 turns after it's deactivation before they can use it again. If the user does not use the full amount of Chakra gathered for this technique by the end of the turn limit, they lose the remaining Chakra. Finally, this Jutsu can be used a max of 3 times per battle.
Note: Can only be taught by Iᴍᴘᴇяғᴇᴄᴛ, and only to those who have learned "(Ninpō: Ritomasu Fingā) Ninja Art: Litmus Finger".

As she flipped out of the way, she tossed 2 kunai from her pouch, with HAET tags attached to them, aiming to blow away the spectre and it's terrifying power, before she spits out a great volley of highly pressurized jets of water to pierce through the explosion and impale the spectre cruelly.

(Suiton: Jinsoku Senbon Dangan) – Water Style: Rapid Senbon Bullets
Rank: S
Type: Attack
Range: Long
Chakra cost: 40

RETURN TO THE COSMOS.

The specter of the void was something incompressible. A being that should not exist, yet it did all the same. It was as real as the flesh on Isabella's skin and as imaginary as her worst nightmares and most fantastical dreams. It was a paradox and within it were the secrets of the cosmos. An infinitude. Just being in its presence caused confusion; it was something far beyond the human experience. Its body shimmered and flickered in the bronze light of the sky. The specter continued to glare directly into Isabella's eyes as her flames obliterated the Void serpent it had just created. Just being in its presence weighed heavily on Isabella's psyche, causing her to lose five Sanity per turn. But perhaps more alarmingly were the Kunai, HAET tags, and even the Water Senbon effortlessly phasing through the specter.

I AM EVERYTHING.

Another voice. This time a shout as loud as a whisper. Its silence echoed through the entire vision, shaking the world itself and rippling the cosmic ocean beneath Isabella's feet. There was something about that word - cosmic. Universal. Everything. Infinity. It was madness to even consider attempting to understand it. Countless scholars, adventurers, theologians, and even the gods themselves had attempted to grasp its secrets but each are rebuked equally.

YOU ARE NOTHING.

The specter took a step forward, the explosions from the HAET tags dispersing and revealing its body unscathed. And then it sprinted to her.

Isabella started feeling the effects of the sanity loss though still quite confusing to her. She started thinking about beers and broskis and objectifying women as a whole, but could't quite put a pin on why she thought that. Regardless, something here held the key to activating her Void touched abilities. This Bro here is saying he's everything, and using this strange water that makes my head hurt when he manifests them.

As the spectre came out unscathed from all her physical abilities, she lowered herself to the water, slamming her fists on its surface. Her Litmus chakra assumed the nature of Mushroom, as the slamming of her fists (quite manly actually) induced the formation of a heavy woven latrice of fungal threads ( A Rank, 80 damage) that form a great wall to trap the spectre. They pick up large swathes of this "void water" that spreads across the terrain, drinking them through Mushroom's inherent parasitic and metabolic properties, while also physically having it fill up the latrice-like shoots, picking up the water and raising it in the air across the whole wall.

In Isabella's mind, there has to be some sort of connection between the "water" snake that the sectre created and this strange water in this strange place. But then... she thought something else entirely.

Broski, if you say I'm Nothing, then there's Nothing to lose. YOLO

And then she drank it. She drank the Void Water. She kept a Medical Diagnosis chakra sensory active onto herself, mainly on her digestive tract and her eyes, trying to feel her body and the chnages that the water could have. She kept looking at the wall of mushroom chakra to see if either the Organic nature of the element, or the infusion and physical presence of the void water are able to interact with the spectre. And she kept thinking of licking her own balls.

It seemed an unadulterated and unmitigated disaster was unfolding before Isabella's Void-touched eyes. The fungal-woven wall would fail to act as an obstacle against the specter. The vines and strands simply served to obscure its advance as it pressed onward, totally unfazed by the defense. But perhaps more interestingly, or alarmingly, was that the Void 'water' did not act as water at all. Instead as the vines ruptured the tranquil oceans only droplets of purple 'water' formed in the air, floating in the bronze light from above. It was as if there was no gravity; yet both Isabella was firmly bound to the Void and unable to disobey the most fundamental law of physics.

BECOME VOID.

The specter continued straight as her as her hands cupped the Void, embracing it. Though it behaved strangely in her hands, just as it did as it floated in the air. It was almost hydrophobic to her hands, making it difficult to grasp. It's behavior seemed to do all it could to defy its expected behavior. And as she drank the Void only worsened that paradox. As the waters worked their way down her throat she'd suddenly feel a maelstrom of physical sensations; in her gut a searing pain of unimaginable amounts. And yet in her mind the need to laugh. The need to cry out in joyous laughter as if hearing the funniest joke.

But her pain and laughter did not stop the specter. It finally reached her, and with its right harm took her by the throat and threw her into the Void 'waters' as her body continued to experience its paradoxical pain and joy. It plunged with her, hand squeezing around and crushing her larynx. It felt as if a gust of wind had taken her, yet kept a solid grip on Isabella's throat. The madness of the situation only further hastened her loss of sanity, dropping it by 15 points.

Isabella's gamble didn't quite work out. As the strange water poured into her throat, a wave of burn and bliss permeated her whole body. She was determined to ride out that sensation, she needed something to happen quick, and the conundrum she was in didn't seem it would end soon. Yet, as she laughed out heavy man chuckles, she was suddenly plunged into more of the water by the spectre. Head first, she was held under by the neck, the intangible void clearly interacting with her, just as the strange water clearly interacted with the environment. Though not as expected or how sense would have dictated.

In her plight, bubbles of water kept bursting out like they were unfettered by gravity, creating a galaxy of different sized orbs all around Isabella's waterboarding. And the, whispers. Strong whispers, telling her.

"You got this bro. You the man. Go suck some dick. You're awesome bro. Tap that asss."

And so she did, leaning her hand backwards, she placed it upon the intangible spectre, and a magnificent burst of lightning was deployed. The lightning took on Isabella's full Yin energy to become intangible itself, spiritual even. The paralyzing properties were further enhanced, creating a strong grip on energy with chilling effects. It would achieve the speed of lightning but burn with spiritual cold, all creating an immaterial lock on the soul and energy, consuming all sense of speed, potential, gravity, temperature, motion, will. It dealt a paralyzing damage to the spectre (hopefully), making it akin to a sealing paralyzis mixed with extreme freezing dealt directly to the soul, spiritual essence or energy, whatever one might be. Which would then be further enhanced by a blast of ravaging lightning energy-infused kick ( A rank 80 damage ) that came from Litmus Fist, as Isabella pushed out from the water and fliped her body upwards onto a handstand, slamming her heavily lightning infused heel onto the fleeting body of the spectre, and then flipping once again onto a standing upright stance, facing her opponent once again

(Raiton: Harinezumi no Mayowasu ) Lightning Release: Deceiving Porcupine
Rank: A
Range: Physical Touch
Chakra Cost: 30 (40)
Damage Points: 60 (80)
Description: The user is able to expell lightning chakra from up to 3 adjacent Chakra Points, and insert it on the opponent's Nervous System. This technique works best if the user releases the lightning from the finger's chakra points, and the chakra power has the ability to paralize the opponent's muscles completly. If expelled from any other chakra point, the user can only paralize the arm or leg touched. (This doesn't apply to Gentle Fist users).
*Lasts 1 turn*
*Can only be used twice*

(Inton: Ten ni Henkō) – Yin Release: Change into Heaven
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: N/A
Chakra: N/A (+50 chakra cost to applied technique)
Description: The user manipulates a technique of the basic 5 elements with Yin natured energy, allowing the user to change its properties. Fire can become solid, lightning can become tangible. The possibilities are as endless as the user’s own imagination. The end result is a technique neutral to all basic elemental natures. This technique is applied within the same timeframe as the technique it is applied to. The infused chakra increases the technique by an additional ten chakra, of the fifty it costs in total.
Note: Yin Release specialists can apply this technique to advanced fields, CE, and advanced elements.
Note: Using Change into Heaven to transform the inherent nature of an element does not modify its base speed.
Note: Usable 3 times per battle and 6 times per arc.

Side note (though it wouldn't matter either way): Change into Heaven can't make something spiritual in this sense. While it says it can make lightning 'tangible,' the way you're using the term 'intangible' doesn't really apply. The only technique in canon Yin Release that had a property like this was the Hands of Sloth. But even that has lost its 'intangibility.' So while Change into Heaven can make lightning solid, it can't make it spiritual. It can't make it like Limbo, basically. Going forward we are going to be editing Change into Heaven because as it stands now the description does not really give it proper meaning on the properties you can change. But like I said - this specter doesn't give a ****!
All shall Converge again.

It seemed to be futile. These attacks had no bearing against an incorporeal being. Something far beyond the comprehension of any normal human. And while the specter was clearly able to grab at her, Isabella couldn't return the favor. Her hand phased right through the specter, sending the burst of lightning on a fast track to nowhere. It was akin to grabbing strong gusts of wind. While they could punch, throw, and even beat someone down the wind couldn't be grabbed. It was like catching smoke with your bare hands. And so his hand continued to squeeze down on her and push her deeper into the depths of the Void.

Become one with me. Set me free.

The words now were calm, gentle. They made more sense. More coherent. It was a masculine voice radiating from deep in the ocean. So deep it stretched to infinity. Set me free.

The specter glared into her eyes now from up close; the obscured, dark blue, cosmic glare that peered into Isabella's existence. It was as if a four dimensional being was looking down on her simple three dimensional self. To the specter she was nothing but a piece of paper to Isabella. And this further intensified the madness, causing Isabella to lose another 25 Sanity.

Isabella started to scratch her own hand, after releasing the lightning burst. Somehow it was nerfed, her imagination started faultering as the intangible lightning became somewhat weaker than intended. The voices kept hyping her, but, for some reason, Isabella started doubting the voices. Not their existance, no. She didn't even thought of doubting that the voices she was hearing were in her own head and unreal.

As they were hyping Isabella up, other voices began causing her to doubt the hype. Isabella looked both sides as 3 instances of voices kept telling her completely dissonant ideas. Some hyped her ego, telling her how she is "The man" how she is going to "Tap every ass and drink every beer, like real men do". Other voices started creating discord, telling her "She is a pussy" or that she has a pussy, Isabella wasn't sure. They started undermining the first group of voices, that they weren't to be trusted, that Isabella was actually a woman, and that she would not, in fact, tap any ass. Isabella gave out a manly chuckle, though a somewhat nervous giggle came out. She found everything to be quite amusing, so much so that she almost forgot herself and what she was facing.

That is, until she heard the third faction of voices. "Become one", "Set me free". The second group of discord raisers seem to target those she trusted and her allies. They naturally kept underminding the first group of voices, the ones that were hyping her up. Isabella's brain was divided, as both groups of voices started cutting eachother, nullifying themselves. But the third voice cut even deeper than the other two. As it was neutral, and came from her opponent. None of the voices had an opinion of it, and so, Isabella's insane-filled and fractured mind clung to the third voice like a beacon.

She had made, possibly, every single Insane decision she could possibly have done since touching the damned tree. So much so that insane decisions started to feel like her default reasoning. Her clinical mind analised the odds in an instant and then she decided to take a step forward. She looked the specter in the eyes, staring at the voice, and seeing the void stare back at her. And then she shouted, as she complety opened herself up to the void, and wholebody allowed it to merge onto herself, even if her ghostly opponent felt more like wind and smoke.

She allowed herself to complety fuse with the specter.

Isabella's collapsing sanity seemed to correlate with the voices echoing throughout the endless sea. As her psyche continued to collapse the voices became more coherent, calmer, and more embracing. Though her thoughts were incorrect; the words were not coming from the specter. The specter had been silent all this time. It was something else. Something cosmic speaking to her. It's words came from the waters of the Void, the stale air, and even the bronze skies. It came from within Isabella's mind, from the tips of her fingers, and the serpent she had slain. And yet in the bout of her madness she made a decision; a decision to embrace the specter. The line between brilliance and madness is so very thin.

In the moment the specter's form crossed over to Isabella's body it would be as if a titanic gust of solid wind had crushed every atom in her. Yet the immaterial body of the specter crossed over hers, superimposing itself on her body. It was stronger, wiser, and dominated her. Its knowledge cosmic and endless. Isabella's frail, weak, and shortsighted. She knew so little about the universe. So little about the cosmic horror that rests beneath the waves of the endless sea.

But cosmic power embraced her in response, like a serpent coiling around its prey. The specter vanished, and with it shattering the remainder of Isabella's psyche. As if a layer of glass suddenly shattering it broke, a floodgate had opened. Madness begets knowledge, and knowledge begets madness. Isabella's Void-touched eyes morphed, growing into a dark blue as they began to reflect the universe themselves. She had awakened them - the eyes that glimpse the abyss. The Shinkaigan, the Abyssal Eyes. Though her psyche shattered it likely would mean very little to her, at least in the moment. It would take some time for her mind to recover. Her body would collapse, lifeless. It floated to the top of the cosmic ocean. The endless sea.

A sip of from a cup of bones.

Description: The Shinkaigan (深海), or the Abyssal Eyes and the Eyes of the Abyss, is the Dōjutsu Kekkei Genkai that appears in the [REDACTED INFORMATION]. Two conditions must be met to awaken the Shinkaigan. The first is that one must become Void-touched; this is achieved when one [REDACTED INFORMATION]. The second is by gaining sufficient knowledge of the Shinkaigan and the [REDACTED INFORMATION]’s innate abilities. This is a key characteristic of the Shinkaigan, noted by Solomon to be “eyes of knowledge” rather than “eyes of trauma,” making it distinct from the Sharingan. The Shinkaigan possesses a unique connection to the Void itself. Its abilities exist in both space and time separately. This comes to be because the Void exists both as a separate dimension and a state in time. Rewinding the clocks far enough would cause everything in the universe to eventually converge onto the Void. The Shinkaigan is the only way one can view the Void directly, peering into it to gain intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the universe as it is today. Without the Shinkaigan exposure to the Void and Shinkaigan Dōjutsu causes one to lose Sanity; though, like a double-edged sword, the Shinkaigan user also suffers a loss of Sanity. But because their eye allows them to perceive and cognize the Void differently from other humans, they lose Sanity at a slower rate. In the left eye the Shinkaigan allows the user to visually perceive lifeforce and lifecycles of anything, including inanimate objects. It derives this ocular power through the nature of the Void itself. The right eye allows the Shinkaigan wielder to view the Void as a physical space, perceiving it not as a point in time but a location. The wielder gains enhanced visual acuity, able to track targets at four times their speed. Though unlike other Dōjutsu it lacks the ability to perceive chakra. Activation of the Shinkaigan grants the user access to their [REDACTED INFORMATION] Dōjutsu, affording them the ability to use powerful temporal and spatial abilities.
Note: The user is able to passively activate the Shinkaigan after holding the Dōjutsu for one month.
Note: Gazing directly into the Shinkaigan causes a loss of 5 Sanity per turn unless the user also wields the Shinkaigan. Those who have completed Taijutsu training can avoid these effects by breaking eye contact with their opponent.
(Isabella suffers a drop of 100 Sanity, shattering her psyche. Roleplay this out in the Void.)

• Tier 6: Insanity, Knockout

Isabella's mind shattered completely. The Void Specter merged with her body, and the conflincting gushes of immaterial wind seemed to lacerate and torn her apart, though dually embrance and coil around and inside her. She felt both disconnected to reality and closer to it than ever before. As the whispers became louder, so did they became faster. Faster and more inteligeable, Isabella's shattered mind started to perceive them synergically as dots of stars that fused together with the starts of the Void World and the droplets of Void Water than obstinately refused to obey the laws of physics.

Everything spun around Isabella like a not so Merry-Go-Round, she felt her mind and body crumble and de-aggregate, parts of her body believed themselves to be great and untouchable, and she saw a great man staring back at her with a Constelation in his eyes and her blood red crimson hair. Other parts were wicked and told her how lonely she was, despite being surrounded by so many voices and iterations of her Self. No allies would be good enough or thrustworthy.

While she had made a fool of herself, throughout the battle, and saw every split image and instance of her encounter, more and more whispers made starts crashed onto these snaps of the timeframe, and erased them completely, even as her own mind forgot them entirely. Everything around her happened fast, so fast, impossibly sped up until only a single thing remained in her shattered mind.

ALL THINGS OCEAN COSMIC

And as the snake of Void Water the specter had created soo many turns ago snaps back at her, to be crumbled away by a vision of Isabella burning it away with solid fire, Isabella opened her eyes. And she stared into the VOID. Into the OCEAN. And then NOTHINGNESS.

And she fell. Knockout.

Had it been a vision all along? Or was it something real? In Eridu, Isabella's hand was still pressed against the Void Tree. Yet something had changed anatomically; she had awakened the Shinkaigan. In this sense, it was not a vision. But in another, it was as if the roots of the Void Tree penetrated her mind, her spirit, and her soul. She was changed, much less human now. Though by all measures her body was, barring the Shinkaigan, still human. And within the vision, if it could be called that, her body lay lifeless and facedown into the endless sea. Her psyche had been shattered and the cosmic entity that had done so was no where to be found, its body superimposing itself on her before disappearing entirely. For [minutes.hours.days.weeks.months.years.millennia.eons] she lay there in silence, the tranquil waters of the endless cosmic ocean caressing her body.

But that stillness was soon broken. From below a serpent slithering upwards, dashing toward her as if finding its prey. But then it paused, eyes gazing at her silently before acting. The serpent was powerless, but all powerful. Mindless, but eternally wise. It could sense the change that had occurred; unnatural and unplanned, but beneficial nonetheless. The serpent had grown [tired]. Its endless thrashing proved fruitless, and yet here a gift sent from elsewhere. She was here, but also not. Underneath Isabella's clothes shimmered a sphere into existence. A small glistening orb that radiated black and white energies from within; humans by now called these Relic Cores. Though their purpose was far more sinister and nefarious than a mere tool or weapon, they would prove useful. Another soldier to march, another blade to be forged.

Wake now, my Voidseer. Peer into the endless. Glimpse the secrets of creation. Become part of the cosmic [evolution.devolution] that shall grasp the world yet again.
This is the end of the battle. Isabella will gain back 50 Sanity, and lose all the current effects she is under. Though the effects of Sanity loss will persist insofar that you suffer from fatigue, headaches, maybe even nausea. You're weakened, basically. But you have attained your Shinkaigan and can activate it at will (though your memory of the battle is wiped out from insanity).

You have also gained a Relic Core.
