Yeah, i do think Kishi is making a point....which leaves room for a NDE of sorts to happen with Jiraiya and maybe his mom or something again. I def think if Naruto is coming back, it will be at someone's sacrifice...and those likely sacrifices are either Obito, Minato, Tsunade or Sakura. Considering shes a main character, i doubt it will be Sakura....unless everyone donates part their life force to help him live (somehow, i have no idea how that would happen) but yeah...im not sure how these guys are getting out of this situation.

Otherwise, either the moon eye plan has been activated the whole time or this whole story of Naruto is actually Jiraiya telling a young Naruto the story in his novel (i could see that happening in the end honestly too)
