It means Madara didn't *****foot out of being a villain like the rest did because of Naruto. That guy was one of the best villains because even in the end, he chose not to go in peace. He's a great guy. :3 Evil and great.

Instead he got changed by Hashirama.

Um no he didn't. Hashirama basically said they might as well make peace since they're all going back to being dead but in the end he still said no and died that way.
