Looks: Vivi typically wears a a tall brown wizard hat with a large brim. The brim shades his face giving the appearance of blackness underneath. The only thing visible is the glow of his large and round yellow eyes. Underneath this hat and shade he has shaggy dark brown hair and light skin. He wears a heavy blue coat over his torso secured across his chest by leather string. His pants are baggy and vary between solid green and green and white stripes. He wears brown leather gloves, boots and a thick belt around his waist.
Personality: Initially Vivi is shy and gullible, almost to a fault. Often stumbling over his speech and lacking in self confidence, he is often times afraid to use his ninjutsu to save himself and his friends, believing himself incapable. He has been improving in his confidence with the help of his comrades. He is quite a deep thinker and often contemplates his own existence, and whether or not he or others truly exist. This wonder led him to delve into books searching for answers to life's greatest questions.

Background Info
History: The origins of Vivi's birth are something he's often contemplated and searched for answers about. He's unsure who his parents are, and has often wondered if he has any parents at all. His first memories of a parent figure were of an old man in Konoha who raised him. He had no blood relation to the man, but he had been with him for as long as he could remember. The man often shared fantastical stories of the world involving ninja, adventure, love and conflict. His house also contained a large number of books describing the histories of wars, peace, clans, etc. These things created a burning curiosity in Vivi making him wish to see the world. This father figure passed away during Vivi's teenage years and it was then that he decided to explore the globe.
Unaccustomed to interracting with people Vivi was naturally shy. He wore a large brimmed hat that hid his face because it made him feel more secure. During his travels he met a great number of people from around the world and learned from them what he could. From Akiza the Black Rose of Amegakure he learned a great deal of ninjutsu as well as the art of the hidden rain style. From Chiryoku he learned the skills of close quarter combat. From Scarface and Ryujin he learned the sealing arts, and from others he learned much more. After several years he grew homesick and returned to the village where he was born, Konoha.
For some time the village thrived under the leadership of the Shodaime Hokage, Xylon. It was a powerful village and Vivi found himself joining the shinobi force. His general timidness and shyness kept him from the front lines and he often found himself watching from safety, afraid to join in the battles. After a period of peace and prosperity a new Hokage rose to power, a man named Pervy. Things started off well, but they quickly spiraled out of control as the Hokage lost his mind. He brought chaos to the village but was finally stopped. With the village in shambles a great man named Lord Danzo became the Sandaime Hokage and brought with him a period of unheralded peace and strength. It was truly the Golden Age of Konoha! But that too would come to an end. While he rallied the village back from the brink of extinction, he faced too great a foe in the Akatsuki. They razed the village several times, and it was decided that a stronger ruler was needed to protect the leaf, giving way to Izuna, and Scary after him.
It was at this point that Vivi's thirst for adventure returned. He decided to say goodbye to his home and spend time in another land. He laid a map out on a table in front of him and closed his eyes placing a finger randomly on the map. It landed in the midst of the Land of Wind on the village of Sunagakure. He journeyed to the sand and trekked through their massive desert. Seemingly lost he happened upon an oasis inhabited by a species of animal called the Tanuki. They were wonderful hosts and Vivi enjoyed himself tremendously. He ended up drunkenly signing a summoning contract with them, and in return they pointed him in the direction of the village. Not long after that he found Suna and became one of their villagers.
Vivi remained in Sunagakure for some times befriending the villagers. They talked of a curse in which the Kazekage would disappear soon after being sworn into power. Much to his surprise the curse seemed to be true. One after the other Kazekages came and went, but the village didn't seem to miss a beat. Eventually the village was attacked by Konoha under the leadership of the Hokage Mugen Ryukyu. It was a violent war which saw many casualties on both sides, including the Kazekage. After the war an election was held and an outsider by the name of Zero was brought in. He declared himself the first Kazerei, but it would seem that wasn't enough to stave of the dreadful curse. The conflict reminded Vivi of his home and he decided to return to Konoha.
Not wanting to go alone he traveled with a man named Sajin. He was still bitter about the war and was seeking revenge against the Hokage. Vivi wanted no part of that, but he followed all the same. Once at the gates Sajin demanded to speak to the Hokage, and he did. But this Hokage was not the one he was seeking. At some point after the war the Hokage had been overthrown by a man named Galen, who declared himself the new Hokage. Vivi was unsure how Sajin would react to having his chance for vengeance taken from him, but he was convinced by this Galen to join Konoha. Vivi was of course welcomed as well, and that is where he now is looking forward to the future and what it brings.

Elemental Affinities: Vivi's primary element is wind which he is a master of, capable of using its techniques with a single hand seal. His secondary element is water which he is skilled in, though not as much as with wind. He can use these techniques slightly faster than the average ninja. These affinities also made him a natural at the hidden rain style, which he enjoys using in battle.
Seals: The typical ninja tools suck as shuriken, kunai, tags, smoke bombs, etc. are carried in pouches along Vivi's waist. He carries various scrolls within his blue coat which he uses for different sealing techniques as well as the sealing formula for lightning blade creation wrapped around his wrists. Along his left forearm is the tattoo he received for the Jaguar contract, and on his right shoulder is the tattoo for the Tanuki contract.
Weapons: Vivi likes to use a wooden staff in battle which he carries on his back. The staff is well made and from a strong wood which allows it to fight on par with metal weapons such as swords. Vivi also carries a short sword on his left hip which he uses for kenjutsu.
