Remember this chapter King Riku said if he became King he asked Rebecca would she be Queen.
When I thought of this isn't Viola next in line or did she reject to go to the Strawhats !?!?!?!!


I hope so cause Viola needs to be a Strawhat !!!!

Or it implies that she will be queen. As in after he dies. Either translation works here.

The most traditional order of succession is that the eldest child of the current monarch (I will exclude the issue of gender here) is the 1st in line followed by her children (when there are more, the oldest is again first). Only after them come the siblings.

So originally this was the order:

- King Riku

- Scarlett (eldest daughter)

- Viola (youngest daughter)

Then when Rebecca got born, the order changed:

- King Riku

- Scarlett (eldest daughter)

- Rebecca (only child of the eldest daughter)

- Viola (youngest daughter)

If Scarlett would have had more children, those would have ranked between Rebecca and Viola. If Rebecca would get children, those also would be ranked higher than Viola. When Scarlett died, Rebecca became the 2nd in line for the throne.
