Which of the following 3 gets the worst TNJ to which they are no longer consider "Villains"

1. Pain
- Gets TNJ because of the book from hearing Naruto somber story about Jiraiya tales which defeated the whole purpose of what he went through when Pain concluded there is no such thing as "true peace" after experiencing countless of wars and losing friends and family he determined that the only way to achieve his goal is to obtain all the bijuu and wipe the 5 great nations clean so they would turn them into Akatsuki and their weapons Through the mutual fear, war would cease to exist and the world would know peace.

After getting tnj, he revived everyone and winded up sacrificed lol. Nagato even entrusted Naruto to find the answer and yet Peace was Never achieved in the end.

2. Obito

- Started this whole war because he lost his childhood crush and yet still couldn't deal with losing 1 person it for 16+ years of his life when there are someone like Kakashi with bigger tragedy. Obito wants to make everyone to go into the dreamworld for his sorry ass excuse.
It took hundreds of chapters through dealing "You let rin die" flashbacks, his BS interaction with Naruto and Kakashi, getting owned by the power of friendships leading to his regrets in the dimension yet still denying Naruto Speech which he somehow couldn't comprehend dreamworld= Fake; which later punched obito and throws heavy genjutsu knock back with TNJ rubbing at his face to finally getting through his thick skull.


3. Toneri

- He gets TNJ because he was somehow misguided believing hamura legacy is to wipe out shinobi world. He was eventually left alone in the moon and for some reason he carries hatred towards mankind for weaponising chakra when he's on the other side of the world...
Toneri was so Obsessed with wanting Hinata because of her royal blood following the destiny way yet he being hypocritical when Toneri was super butthurt about how Hamura chose Hinata.

It took a heavy beat down from Naruto RSM leading a final blow which is a solopunch only to be saved when he was about to destroy himself due to the absorption.

I didn't stay on the Moon because of Hinata, I stayed at the Moon because she along with Naruto showed me Hamura's grave and vision and to repent for the sins I have committed against the Main Branch of the Otsutsuki Clan, decided to remain on the Moon to make sure it never comes into collision again with Earth.

Nagato.

Dude was almost done with everything. Heck hes even dying because of it. Naruto then says something about Jman and loses all his shit? Thats weak.

At least Obito lost because he really wanted to be hokage. And he saw Naruto makin his way downtown, walking fast.

Toneri on the other hand was on a misguided mission. His branch was under the influence that should Hagoromo's peace fail, destroy everyone from Earth and repopulate it (Hamura's revenge for people tainting Hagoromo's peace)
Since it never got that far (although it was pretty effin close)

So Toneri's bloodlust is weak as well. It was more duty based.

Only Nagato knew true Pain. And everyone shall know true pain. Unless they know the teachings of the holy Jman of course

I've watched the movie so Nah you misinterpreting everything I stated. I said about Hamura legacy was his misguided so don't bother giving me more detail with Naruto and Hinata showed Toneri Hamura perspective when it's the same thing as getting tnj, how did toneri willing to cooperate with Naruto after the battle? Exactly it's all by speech leading to the truth

Nagato, provided it wasn't filler, has always shown to be easily influenced. When a friend and I were watching their flashbacks, they said he seemed stupid because he took everything someone said to heart, and held on to it like crazy. So, given Nagato's character, it's not hard to think his opinion could be, and was, changed with someone giving him detailed reasons, and who also knew more about him, seeing as they shared a master, and Naruto knowing about Jiraiya's ideals and reading his book.

So, Nagato being persuaded didn't seem too far-fetched.

Naruto saved Toneri from the absorption and then he probably revert back to his usual blind man falling on the ground unconcious, Naruto probably heals him with his jesus power and then gives him speech afterward.

Nagato has the chance to accomplish his goal but he allows Naruto to cloud his judgement, it makes no sense when he knows full well that Jiryiaya way of peace doesnt work that way so why would he listen to Naruto
