Let us say you have Hashirama and Madara fighting on the same team.

Would the following be a viable strategy for them?

Madara cuts off his own arms and replaces them with those of Hashirama. Since Hashirama has regeneration, they easily grow back. Madara now has enough of Hashirama in him to almost immediately unlock the Rinnegan. With his Rinnegan, Madara uses the Void Path to transfer his energy to Hashirama. This allows Hashirama to almost immediately unlock Six Paths Sage Mode. Set like this, they go further! Hashirama gives his energy to Madara to give him his SM and Madara gives his eyes to Hashirama. Hashirama uses his healing powers to restore the eyes of Madara.

So the duo can power each other up to have both SPSM and the Rinnegan in a matter of minutes. Of course, this only works against opponents who would not immediately blitz them at the start of battle. They could combine their illusions - Bringer of Darkness and Sharingan - as well as their defences - Energy Armour and Wood Golems and Deity Gates - to keep foes at bay while they prepare this combo.

What say you?

This should also work with Naruto and Sasuke and i think any mixture of any Ashura and Indra reincarnates working together.

normally u make sense but if kishimoto were to aply ur solution he would be haivn troubles in his writing..
Well, they were enemies . . .

Imagine Particle Style + Clam Mist Illusion, Gold Wave + Electric Shock, Timeless Illusions + Snake Poison and so on.

Does it not fit with what Madara said about the Uchiha Pebble Tablet, that two opposites working together can rule the world, that they would be overpowered?

This works, and assuming they don’t do that in the middle of battle which is the dumbest thing ever, they don’t need prep time. This is an entire process and event that would have to take place way outside of battle lmao. Only thing I disagree with is Hashi being able to give Madara SM. He can’t just give him senjutsu and he like “here you have Sage mode”. Pretty sure you actually have to learn to be one with Nature. That’s non-transferable. Everything else seems solid though.

Isn't that what he did during the night battle of the 4th War? Directly take SM from Hashirama?

I’m not sure but that doesn’t seem to make sense. He would turn to stone. Senjutsu is one thing you can’t freely transfer in the series. Maybe he found a way around this but yeah, not sure.

Only if you absorb enough of it.

Now remember that that Madara had already had parts of Hashirama in him, so that combined with his knowledge, Rinnegan and experience probably helped him balance it out.

Otherwise, an arguement could be made that Hashirama could've killed Madara there by flooding him with too much NE, like Naruto did with Void Path.
