The upcoming 2012-2013 season is fastly upcoming so I made predictions for my team the Minnesota Vikings say what you want but unless your a Packers, Lions, or Bears fan you were probably on the Viking bandwagon in 09. Here are my predictions for my team in 2012-2013.
Week 1 vs Jacksonville Jaguars-Win
If A.P. is back well this game will be great because it will feature the leagues best running backs. However if A.P. isn't back I see this being a fairly close game actually it should be close regardless but my prediction is that Ponder will drive the Vikes down the field within the last 3:00 mins score and then defense will have to hold for the last minute.
Prediction-27-20 Vikings
Week 2 @ Indainapolis Colts-Win
Wait Vikes start out 2-0? Yes we will why? Well pretty much because the Colts(now I love the Colts there one of my teams) but they pretty stacked up on offense this offseason not that there's anything wrong with that they needed it Andrew Luck will be Rookie of the Year in my opinion. However the Vikings did stack up on defense during the offseason so thats the kicker right there. Defense wins games A.P. or not Vikings win.
Prediction-27-14 Vikings
Week 3 vs San Francisco 49ers-lose
49ers are coming off there biggest season in recent memory had a lot of momentum leading up to NFC Championship game but I think there gonna keep it Rollin' Patrick Willis is a beast. Carlos Rogers is a ball hawlk. Sorry Viking fans but this might be ugly I hope not.
Prediction-31-14 49ers
Week 4 @ Detriot Lions-lose
Now now I really wanted to say the Vikings win this one I really did but I do think they make a couple of surprises(later) but this one was tough espeacialy after last years games which both of them the Vikings should've won 20-0 lead in the first well blew it and in the second one :sy: I will never get over that where in the world were refs on the Vikes last drive smh. Well anyway I think this will be close but coverboy does something spectacular at the end to seal it
Prediction-31-21 Lions
Week 5 vs Tennessee Titans-win
After 2 bitter loses the Vikes look to get back on track against the Titans. This is also the game I see A.P. coming back in if he hasn't returned yet. But the big story here will be Ponder vs Locker who will win? Ponder we have more depth at reaciever(even if Percy is traded which is next to impossible) but Tennessee does have a talented WR in Kenny Briggs but will he be able to stand up to Antionie Winfield Chris Cook or even Josh Robinson(fastest rookie in class of 2012) we shall see but I say no...ok Winfield yes but to the others no.
Prediction-24-21 Vikings
Week 6 @ Washington Redskins- Win
Woohoo we get to beat Luck and RG3! Sorry Redskins fans I don't have much to say about this beside that both teams are in the rebuilding stage and I believe we best you guy in this on so Vikes win this one to improve to 4-2 hmmm not bad.
Prediction-24-17 Vikings
Week 7 vs Arizona Cardnals- Win
We beat you guys with Mcnabb last year. No disrespect intended but if Mcnabb wins Ponder should win. Only problem here is Fitz we have Robinson and Cook to match him in speed but is that enough...I hope so
Prediction- 17-14 Vikings
Week 8 vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Lose
I hate to say this because this can go either way but they Bucs did really good this offseason. I hate to say this and after we played them last year they might get down on purpose so they can comback agian. This was and still is a toss up for me but I think the Bucs will get the better of the Vikings
Prediction 24-14 Bucs
Week 9 @ Seattle Seahawks- Win
Even the biggest Viking fans will tell this. This is gonna be a snooze feast. Sorry Seahawks fan Vikings destroy Seahawks here.
Prediction 35-7 Vikings
Week 10 vs Detriot- Win
Remember in the first game with Detriot when I said there should be a couple of surprises in the season well here's the first one Vikings over Detriot in this one where defense rules the game
Prediction- 13-10 Vikings OT
Week 11- bye week
Well it's about time. It the bye week and the Vikes are 7-3 wow where looking to be a team to contend well let's see who we have within the next games we have St. Louis ok yes! Houston....ok that's a lil scary the Bears twice -_- I'm calling bull and the Packers twice ****!!!!
Week 12 @ Chicago-lose
We never win here -_- it's not even funny. That right there is the sole reason I'm going with the Bears...ok actually it's not Winfield will probably be hurt by now and I don't know anybody else tall enough to gaurd Marshell.
Prediction 35-17 Bears
Week 13 @ Green Bay-lose
Ok it's December and who want to be in Green Bay in December beside the Packers themselves and there fellow Cheeseheads.....nobody thought so but Viking fans look to get pounded by Rogers and the rest of the Packers
Prediction- 42-10 Packers
Week 14 vs Chicago-win
Yes we win this one. This is the 2nd of the surprise of the season. By now I. Sure the Bears will have a wildcard spot so I'm thinking they might rest starters at halftime.
Prediction-28-21 Vikings
Week 15 @ St. Louis Rams- win
Ok let's agree st. Louis isn't the team they use to be by this time of the season Jackson will be hurt and they're only hope is Bradford not making a mistake.
Prediction- 28-14 Vikings
Week 16 @ Houston-lose
-sniff- Houston will win their division this year possibly there confronce this is a great team by now they will have a playoff spot probably wont play The Great One but if they do it will for the first quarter and that's it.
Prediction-21-10 Houston
Week 17 bs Green Bay-lose
Well what a way to end the season a home game against the Packers that's sad the Packers will rest there starters but it dosnt matter there backups are great most of them can be starters on other teams. At least this on is close though
Prediction- 14-10 Packers
So with that the Vikings will finish 9-7 miss the playoffs, but prove they were the biggest underdogs the Vikings are so underrated this season because of the horrible play the last two seasons is everybody forgetting this team was in the NFC championship game 2 years ago...would've went to the Super Bowl if it wasn't for turn overs and other things...but yes we are so underrated this year I firmly believe we will go 9-7 this year.
If you like I can do predictions for other teams also but that will b a majority rules thing so if you want me to that tell me and I'll do it tell me what you think of my predictions and most of all Vikings fans I know your out there tell me what you think what do you think are record will be.
