Video editing program?

Does anyone know a good (free) edeting program that can be run on a 32-bit Windows 7 starter netbook? I used to have Sony Vegas 11 on my laptop, but since that one broken down after 8 years of work...

I tried Live Movie Maker, but that really sucks>_> Since I haven't figuired out how to make longer videos and more the one song...

Adobe premier or after effects if u want some effects in ur vid

Premier is probably the best. Final Cut bugs the hell out of me for various reasons. I learned on Avid but I wouldn't use that unless you have a keyboard with the presets. After Effects is the best when it comes to effects. I simply hate using them for anything other than transitions so I haven't got a lot of experience with that though. You can get all this stuff at the *********.
