Battles last for 5 turns. If they aren't completed in a timely manner, I'm disqualifying both parties.
In the case of a disagreement, settle the argument over VMs. In the case that you can't come to an arrangement, post in the Conflict and Resolution thread that will be made for the tournament. If I don't get to it myself, I'll have someone else judge it in a timely manner.
Gonna use Jio Otsutsuki in my sig.

Biography It was an odd day. Mystogan was competing for... Something. Whatever the ultimate prize was, it was not a part of his quest. Yet here he was, staring at a fellow member of the Nekura clan who more than likely truly sought the endgame of this competition. But the prize wasn't the point.
Stringing together two handseals, Mystogan bent his knees and forcefully slammed his hand onto the ground. Drawing the young man's attention to the earth, Mystogan used his chakra to compress the air to the south about twenty meters upwards towards the sky into the form of a hawk. That was the first seal. This wind-hawk, formed long-range from the man and very high up, was then further compressed by the second seal into a small near-pyramidal form, albeit rounded as opposed to straight edges - a bullet, as it were. This bullet, even as it was formed, was launched at tremendous speeds (see the technique), which would make even the fastest kunai or shuriken appear to move at a walking pace, if not slower. This bullet would fly fast at a downward trajectory to pierce the clansman's head clean through.
Rank: A
Range: Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user does one handseal, and the air in on of 4 different locations, North, East, South West, will compress and assume the shape of a hawk, soaring in the air about 20 meters from the ground, and Long range from the opponent(s). It will glide around in a circle, always keeping the same distance from their correspondent target. With one seal, the user can make this wind-hawk (One at a time, or as the user wishes) shoot itself at speeds slightly higher than the current sniper bullets, and will assume a similar shape, aiming to pierce the opponent in a specific (or not) place, depending on the accuracy of the user of this technique.
*Can only be used once. The hawk must be dispersed or used before the user (And only the specific user) of this technique can preform any other jutsu. If the user of this technique is knocked unconscious, killed or vanished, the hawk will vanish.
Once targeted (At the beginning of the jutsu) the hawk can't change opponents, and will disperse harmlessly if the said opponent vanishes, looses consciousness or get's killed.
Not wanting to wait, as the people Mystogan has always fought tend to be more troublesome than they appear, Mystogan quickly straightened up and held his hands in an awkward position, exhaling a thick mist from under his scarf that quickly cast the entire area in a dense fog that blocked all direct vision between the two (fog is essentially equivalent to thick mist. If you don't like the wording "fog", then by all means feel free to replace it with "a dense thick mist". It doesn't change the technique). As the mist was forming, and as it initially enveloped Mystogan, he moved to his left, away from the river, so that his position could be hidden and guessing based on where he was when the technique begun would give a false location.
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.
After the mist filled the entire area, Mystogan sent some chakra through the ground beneath him, allowing him to feel the pressure of anything on the surface of the field, as well as any pressure exerted on the ground beneath the surface (ie. digging) in order to keep tabs on the young man. Mystogan continued to walk, his footsteps falling silently on the damp grass (collecting the water hanging in the air from the mist), circling around the man in a clockwise manner.
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary/Defense
Range: Short-long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user sends small amounts of chakra through ground around him so he can sense the pressure in certain locations of the battle field. By doing this the user can sense where his opponent is standing and where his opponent is if he/she is underground.
-User must make contact with the ground while using this jutsu.

Ahh, what a surprise for young Jio. Seemed the day he fought the Almighty Mystogan had come finally. For the longest it felt as if fate was avoiding such things, but now it had to happen. Jio, though not ever showing it, held a deep hatred for Mystogan. This was the first person to teach Jio an element, a Leader of the clan Jio wanted to lead; and above all the man seemed to be favored by Jio's own father. Jio simply wanted to kill him out of raw spite, and it would be done with his bare hands at point blank range, face to face.
Luckily for Jio, Mystogan seemingly had the same idea. With not even a word to his clansman, Mystogan weaved in two hand seals and slammed his palms on the ground, though Jio reacted off of the first hand seal. With the first glance of the hand seals, Jio dashed towards his ex teacher at full speed. Jio wanted to go straight for a close combat fight to kill him with his own hands, though he knew he'd need one of his creations in case the man attempted to stop his forward progress into short range. By the time the second hand seal was flashed, Jio had released his Fuuton chakra into the air around him, creating a basically invisible shell of intangible wind that encompasses the entirety of the close range area around him. This would act as an automatic defense against any energy related techniques Mystogan used, and would be used as an attack mechanism to increase his Taijutsu prowess if the proper opening was revealed to him.

, utilizing the intangible and pressurized aspects of Fuuton. Unlike its sister technique though, Myōna hyōjō isn't used on a projectiles or techniques being used, but instead a technique used directly on the user himself or melee weapons he is holding. The user would create a thick "shell" of Fuuton Chakra around the shape of either his entire body or a melee weapon i.e. a sword, hammer, club etc. being about 5m thick and about an inch away from actually touching the user. The shell of Fuuton initially takes on the unique intangible state though it gives off a pale white glittering affect on whatever it is around, (see photo. Lel). Once the shell is created it stays active around the user for three turns before the Chakra runs dry and the shell vanishes all together. While the shell is active it isn't affected by solids such as earth techniques, water, steel, or other human bodies, though the shell reacts to energy based elements and such according to elemental strengths and weaknesses. This means the shell would be unphased by a kunai or earth technique coming in no matter the rank, but would combat against a fire, wind or lightning technique according to rank and weakness. The pressurized usage of the shell comes into play when the user wills it to, by spending an extra +10 chakra for the shell, thus pressurizing it to give it a physical aspect of aggressive cutting wind. This means the user can be performing a Taijutsu technique with the shell around his body in the intangible state, having no affect on how his Taijutsu attack is defended from when it comes to non energy defenses, but at any point the user can spend the needed chakra for the shell to pressurize and rip up anything it is in contact with. The shell becoming pressurized only lasts a brief moment before returning to non aggressive intangible wind again. This means for each attack to be pressurized the user has to spend additional chakra. Due to the wind staying present around the body, it becomes impossible for the user to use any other technique related to another element besides Fuuton. Even though the usage of elements is restricted to Fuuton, the user can still use Taijutsu, Genjutsu, Kenjutsu and Ninjutsu as long as it is raw chakra or Fuuton.

With the shell around him, Jio continued to sprint at his teacher, making sure to keep a keen eye out for anything happening as he ran. At this point, the bird/bullet should be descending onto Jio unknowingly, though being stopped by the zone automatically once it entered close range of Jio. With the bird being a failed attempt, Mystogan should be doing his mist/fog, which Jio instantly notices. In reaction to the mist being spewed out/formed to spread across the terrain, Jio continued forward at Mystogan whilst inserting his own suiton Chakra directly into the fog as it is created. Using the moisture from the fog, Jio creates an invisible mist inside of it, which gives him the ability to sense Mystogan's heat signature, thus making his attempt to conceal himself useless, though he wouldn't know this. At this point, seeing as he never stopped progressing towards Mystogan, Jio should definitely be within close range. Entering close range whilst keeping tabs on your heat signature, Jio compresses the wind around both of your arms and both legs in order to near instantly crush them. The pressure of the wind should render the limbs useless altogether, and this would be happening as Mystogan uses his earth jutsu to try sense Jio. (See "The Zone" for the pressurized wind attack).
(Suiton: Ten no namida) Water
style: Tears in heavens
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C-Rank
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 15
Damage: N/A
Description: This technique depends on manipulating water molecules present in the location (water source/water from previous water jutsus) to spread out in the atmosphere. By infusing the user's chakra into these molecules, the user can sense the enemy in/on the battlefield by sensing the body temperature or heat given out by the person. This is exactly like the mist jutsu, but here the molecules doesn't block the vision. The best part about this jutsu is that, the molecules in the air keep building up even if/when it is
blown away by the wind till the
water source/the water from the previous jutsu dries away. This helps in tough situations when due to some reasons, the user can't find the opponent.
Note:
- Can only be taught by
Flash07.
- Requires a previous or existing water source.
- Lasts only six turns before water molecules evaporate or until water source is destroyed.

As discussed via Skype, you can't have The Zone active while you use Tears in Heavens, so we will proceed with The Zone deactive (this is mostly for the checker than for either of us). As Mystogan got a feel for the area around him, and where things were on the surface, he noticed incremental spots of pressure appearing and disappearing, getting closer to him with regard to where previous spots of pressure had disappeared earlier - clearly footsteps moving towards him.
Persistent.
This wasn't a problem for Mystogan, but more of an opening. As he dryly spoke the word to describe his opponent's attempts, the emotion and enthusiasm behind the word reflecting his attitude towards the battle and competition overall, he quickly wove three handseals as he began to move backwards, entering a light job (much slower than your run) as he prepared the technique to slightly extend the time it took for the boy to reach him. And this was where Mystogan's preparation came into use. This boy was a Nekura, someone he had seen before, and judging from Mystogan's initial impression before the battle begun he was able to get a decent grasp on the young man's height, knowing what it was in relation to himself back when they saw each other last. His technique, then, compressed the mist he had made previously into the form of a sword, "solid" enough to actually pierce and kill, at about gut height of his opponent, which moved forward quickly to impale him. Unbeknownst to Mystogan, this weapon was even deadlier than he imagined. While Mystogan wasn't aware of Jio's perception technique, the jutsu only sensed heat in the area of the mist (which was hidden within Mystogan's own mist). Because the sword was made of the mist itself, it's heat would be no different than the mist itself which was sensing the heat in it's area of effect, which would render the weapon invisible to this "sensory".
Type: Offensive | Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user forms three handseals and channels their chakra through an already-existing mist, either natural, or technique-made (the user of the technique doesn't matter). Then, by using shape manipulation, the user can form the mist into various bladed weapons at any point in the mist up to mid-range, and then control the weapons much like they can real weapons with "Manipulate Advancing Blades", moving them through the mist with simple mental commands. This technique is most effective when used in thick mists, and especially chakra-infused mists such as "Hiding in Mist Technique", as it makes the condensed mist hard to see, and a sensor-type has to concentrate to feel the changed density of chakra within the mist, especially if it's behind them, away from the user where one's attention would be in a battle.
Note: ~Can only be used by Sharingdork
~Can only create one tool (kunai, sword, shuriken, etc.) per use
~Tools only last the turn they were made
I don't even know why I still use that hawk technique...
Mystogan then focused his chakra through the ground to cause four spikes to erupt from the earth. Two shot straight through the points of pressure he could feel on the ground, which were clearly where Jio's feet were, while the other two formed a perpendicular line to the first two (if you were to draw a line between the first two spikes, drawing a line through the second pair would make a line perpendicular (at a 90 degree angle) to the first) at a slightly steeper angle. Mystogan could guess Jio's height all day, but ultimately he could not see the young man, and all he knew for sure was where the young man's feet were, so he did his best to aim for the boy's chest and back, but in the end could only hope he would hit his mark.
It never actually kills people.
Rank: B

Description: The user of this technique condenses the soil and rock in the area to sprout out in the form of four large spikes which attack the target from four separate directions to make it harder to evade. However, it can be easilty avoided by escaping upwards.
