Very Serious question for me

(Now go easy on me because i don't really know how to correctly word what I'm going to say,and this question really scares me when i think about it but i could really use some other peoples thoughts,so here gos)

Is there a human act that gos above cruelty,because when people hear things like say animal cruelty,most people say "oh thats cruel",but is there a word that passes just being cruel and still sounds serious
and before you say "oh your a bitch,how does that question scare you"really think about it in your own head.

Cruel:Having or Showing a Sadistic disregard for the pain or suffering of others

Is there a word that Surpasses even this?

I have to agree with Panda up der! Otherwise, I would say that cruel or cruelty, (Basically any form of the word), is second in worst definitions.

The reason I don't put death as the top, although it was a good suggestion Skyer ^.^, is because death is a natural part of life. Where as Holocaust is making death a bad or cruel thing. That's what I think anyway. U_U

Actually, OP said it himself, to me, one of the words that goes beyond cruel is sadistic. It just sounds profoundly evil to me, and rather sick. A cruel person sounds like they pale in comparison to a sadist.

Sadist:

Someone who obtains pleasure from inflicting pain on others.

A cruel person is just mean and heartless to me, but a sadist is someone that thrives off of making others suffer. I have to shiver a little every time I think about it...

Sociopath, Psychopath are terms generally reserved for those that engage in acts of anger or cruelty with no remorse, however they tend to get hyped up due to Hollywood use and the true meaning of the terms is lost over the perception it generates.
