Common Sense

If you're suggesting it's not an error. How would it be possible that Naruto gets additional time to learn the TBB? When he failed, Kisame attacked. We all know what happened afterwards.The way Kirabi says it in error form "He pulled it off", that means Naruto would release it. Where would a TBB explode? on the back of a turtle? Like we would really miss out the TBB exploding on the back of a turtle. Are you suggesting Naruto and Kirabi were training on the battlefield? Oh really now.

Basic Grammar Structure
"He was able to pull it off during training"
"But, this is for real, can he pull it off?"

1)The including of "but" in the second line clearly states that there would be two different results, so it didn't work before.
2)"Again" would need to be included in the second line to make the sentence acceptable of Naruto performing the TBB before.

Hachibi's Reaction

The hachibi is within Bee, he sees and hears everything. It's clear that he's saying Naruto didn't learn how to control/ use it before.

That's not an error, he probably meant that he did it once and got the negative and positive to work one time in training.

You are kind of right from the perspective you are coming from. But we do know that he was able to gather the chakra and launch the attack but it was not controllable for him in his current state. But meh.. i think u r right.
