Appearance

Vergil has long, white hair usually swept back. In battle they can flip down if he has to go all out. After the fight, however, he flips them back with one quick move. Vergil wears a blue, long coat(brown on the inside) with white embellishments on it and with three tails and a snake like pattern on the right side of the jacket. Below a blue shirt and blue jeans. He wears brown gloves and brown boots, which almost reach to his knees. His eyes resemble the same color as his coat.

Personality

Vergil is calm, cool, and collected. He is quiet and prefers swords over any other weaponry, since he only considers swords worthy of a "true warrior". However, his silence is not due to a lack of self-confidence; it is because he never shows fear for anything. Interestingly, despite his cold persona and ruthlessness, which could be aftereffects of growing up in Kirigakure during the so called "Bloody Mist Era" and inability to protect his mother. He is a warrior who always follows a strict combat discipline. He despises fighting dirty and sometimes even refuses to attack his opponents from behind. Vergil also has no tolerance for failure.

Despite his normal personality of cold dismissal, he does cherish two things - The Yamato, a Katana left to him as a keepsake by his father, and his Amulet, a keepsake from his mother. Vergil seeks power as compensation for failing to protect her. His failure may also have made him forsake close human relationships.

Background Information

History

Vergil was born and raised in Kirigakure by his Mother Eva, a simple housewife and his father Sparda, a very capable shinobi, who was known to fulfil some of the most dangerous missions for Kirigakure.

Sometime before his eighth birthday, Eva gave Vergil an Amulet, which he still keeps with him. Around the same time his father disappeared, and Eva and Vergil were left. Some point after Sparda's death on an important mission, when the Vergil turned eight, he and his mother were attacked by revenge-seeking Shinobi, who hoped to harm Sparda's (who has taken many lives) loved ones. Eva was killed, while Vergil survived, unable to protect her, left with nobody he fell in a deep depresssion. But he decided to life on with 8 years of age he decided to live a life in solitude. He took his Yamato, which his father suprisingly gave him right before his depature, which he never came back from. Vergil he decided to train and become a master swordsman but he knew he still had much to learn. He swore to himself to never use a different weapon, may it be a Kunai or a paper bomb, just to show gratitude to his father for giving him the Yamato. Vergil decided to choose his Sword as his only weapon.

He signed up for the academy in Kirigakure. Always quite and calm he shielded himself from other students. Vergil became one of the top students in the academy until the day came. The day of the Genin exams. As Vergil heard about it he was cold as always, in his mind it didn't matter if he had to kill his classmates. At that point he saw his decision not to make friends as an advantage. With no bounds, whatsoever, between his classmates he killed everyone in order to survive, no more, no less.

Shortly after he was never seen again in the Village. He disappeared. At the age of 13 he decided that he was ready to kill the ones who killed his mother and left the Village after acquiring the needed intel about them. All he took with him was his sword Yamato and the Amulet his mother gave him. And today he is still out there in the World of Shinobi searching for these Shinobi. What he will do when he is done and his cravings for revenge are satisfied is still in question.
