Velvet is a very shy, quiet girl who tends to keep to herself, either by choice or because she is isolated by others. Even when being picked on by others, she tends to act very reserved and refuses to fight back. One can say that she is very timid. She is described as having modest fashion tastes.
However, despite her shy personality, she seems to get along with others, as seen with Her Team, and younger shinobi from the academies. She wishes them safety on their missions.
In battle, Velvet continues to display her timid nature. When not attacking or finishing an attack, her stance is much more closed than the others, even hiding under Teammate Yatsuhashi Daichi when Fox Alistair destroys a Large Beast with his weapons, sending its spikes flying everywhere within the vicinity of the area. In addition to this, she unquestioningly obeyed Coco's (Team Leader's) suggestion to avoid using her weapon in the fight against the hordes of Grimm.
Outside of combat she appears to have an interest in photography

Background Information
Velvet was born into a Travelling Family, however her family hailed from Sunagakure. They also were apart of a special bloodline capable of Magnetism. Though they never knew how to use it themselves, Velvet has yet to find a teacher who can open up the use of her Kekkei Genkei.
Her family was very close to animals, growing up Velvet studied them a lot. Not just their looks, but also their nature. She took a liking to Rabbits and ended up wearing a pair of Bunny Ears which have been on her head since she was little. Seriously. She never takes them off. Eventually her Family settled down and she went to Ninja Academy, she got bullied a lot for her tendency to never take off her Bunny Ears and her love for animals, which sort of distanced her from the other students.
Eventually she formed a great relationship with Yatsuhushi, Fox and Coco. Coco especially, she became a figurehead for the four and they have fought together ever since. The team look out for Velvet a lot, she fights well, but she has yet to find her true talent - she has something in the works after all.

Other
Velvet is Proficient In Using Many Weapons and Tools. Even though she does have Ninjutsu, in battle she likes to show off her prowess in these other weapons. Capable of using Swords, Axes, Scythes, Gauntlets, Kunai, Shuriken with great proficiency, accuracy and lethality.
