Sasuke isn't meant to paralell Vegeta though. Kishi designed Sasuke after Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho. So, Sasuke's aloof behavior post chapter 699 to his family (Sakura + Sarada) and friend (singluar: e.g. Naruto) is to be expected. It doesn't make for good drama or development. Since Kishi was in such a rush to end things when he did; after spending years on a war arc that literally went in circles and the 11 chapter Kaguya arc that went nowhere.

Naruto and DB started out great:

DBZ: Saiyan through Cell Games

Naruto: Part 1 through Pein Invasion


Went down hil:
DBZ - Buu Saga through GT.

Naruto - Gokage Summit through War Arc + Endless Filler.


But DB climbed back uphill with Super and the new movies.

Naruto still has Boruto and whatever new movies they make for redemption, but we'll have to wait and see.

Apparently DBSuper is top tier in the fandom I guess? I've seen mixed reviews.

Over at Naruto Forums, people are loving DBSuper. But everywhere else I go, people are always ranting about the power levels being all over the place.

Boruto right now (anime wise) is growing a large fan base, but they have to move past this academy arc in the next 5 or so episodes. Otherwise people will get bored.

The Boruto Manga is the same too. Last chapter was okay but it wasn't exceptional.
