[Predictions] Vegapunk will be a straw hat

I dont have much to back this up but he is the world best scientist.

And by the trends the straw hats set EOS the straw hats will have the best sniper navigator historian ect if they don't have the best scientist it would be disappointing. I would say ceasar but ceasar abuses his subordinates and luffy hates guys like that.

Plus Vegapunk was so note worthy that nami (who doesn't care about any thing about money) was taking notes

This & scientist won't have much of a purpose. I hope they don't get a scientist, that'd be pretty lame/useless. I want an astronomer, I thought Monet would be perfect for that position but she's dead. (theories are suggesting she is still alive so who knows)

To be fair, an archaeologist and a musician arent that important in a pirate crew either.

Entertainers are very important when traveling the sea. In the One Piece world, it isn't always on an island rousing up trouble. You can spend weeks or maybe months in just open water with just your crew, tell me if you'd wanna do that with nothing entertaining going on.

An archaeologist like Robin can also provide valuable information on things like unknown islands or objects they find. What if they encounter a bomb and only someone with the knowledge of an archaeologist can inform them on what it is?

Am not really fond of having Vegapunk as one of the Strawhats but i do hope he/she will be their ally

And we are talking about a pirate crew in One Piece world so it's a bit hard to label anything as strange. But for me having a musician cheers your long voyage while an archaeologist (more like a historian) clears up new discovery during the adventures. Useful, important.

You missed the point. There are things Robin, an archaeologist knows and can do, that can be helpful to the crew. Watch when Poneglyphs start affecting the flow of the plot, you'll be eating your words.

Im talking about your average pirate crew, of course Robin will be valuable to the plot but most pirate crews dont need an archaeologist to become successful.

Well if you think about it a scientist could be useful to the crew as eventually they will be reaching uncharted waters and someone who understands what is happening isn't ever a bad thing

The same for an astronomer in the new world you need three compasses to get to the next island but what if one island is in space or the compasses stop working and the only way to navigate is to know the movement of the stars above the grand line which i assume is as wonky as everything else.

I'm not talking about an average pirate crew... I'm talking about the SH's. So a scientist joining the SH's would be pretty useless since we got Franky who's a tech. expert. An astronomer would be helpful for the SH's in the future, so I'm sure she'll be recruited (assuming she's not dead) or another astronomer would join much later on in the series.
