Titan, at Arai's continued speech, pressed the pistol against Dolly's head, but eased up a little when she threw her weapon away as asked. She seemed peaceful and compliant enough; maybe they could be arrested without bloodshed. He was thinking about handing over the kid when he observed what Korosu had done, or rather hadn't done. There were two major problems: 1) He knew he didn't really specify, but someone would have to be a REAL dumbass to believe putting a sword in a readily accessible sheath constitutes throwing it away 2) Korosu had asked a sensible question, but in a way that easily pissed him off, and you don't want to piss off someone holding a hostage at gunpoint. He was about to find out why.
Out of pure rage, Titan almost immediately pulled the trigger after Korosu's comment, sending a .50 caliber bullet into her skull and spraying her little girl brains all over the place. But he didn't stop there. He went and fired the gun twice at Korosu's exposed chest, sending two mercury core silver plated magnum slugs for his nipples.
Red felt so much pain in that instance that he didn't even have enough strength to yell, he only fell back on the girls shoulders as she carried him.
"Dang it, he's loosing it, I need to get him to a doctor fast ", she thought as she ran while carry red on her back.
When Red and the girl made it out of the forest, the girl made a sudden stop which caused Red to feel a jolt of pain well up in his stomach..it was excruciating
"Whats happening", red said as he tried to look up...
"Shh...don't say anything...", backing back slowly toward the forest..
A swarm of manged wolves who looked like they hadn't eaten a decent meal in years cornered the girl and red once they exited the forest grounds, There was a building on their left that wasn't too far from them but they needed a distraction and something told the girl that if they didn't find medical attention any time soon then Red would die here...
Death reappeared in front of the snarling wolves. He reached out to Red, his arm seeming to stretch and grow until it encased his vision in nothing but darkness.
"Your time has co--"
Death was suddenly cut off as he retreated his arm, allowing Red to see again as a golden-bronze light consumed Death. The light left nothing of the man that once stood there and in his place was a towering humanoid of the light. It had no features and seemed to pulsate as pure energy. It stood, seeming to stare at Red until headlights suddenly overtook it and the wolves ran away from the sight. A honking horn came from a pickup truck nearby and the man inside poked his head out the window
"You folks need a ride?"
