It was such a climatic episode. They really went all out for their mid-season finale. I am disappointed that Mikael died though. The father-son confrontation was really something to watch.

The ending was great too. Now that the bodies are taken I wonder if we'll get to see Elijah again. I loved his character. I wonder if he'd help Stefan or Klaus. Now that the Family's bodies are recovered Elijah really has no reason to stick around other than to help kill Klaus. The question is if he'd be willing spend his time and effort to do it =/
