Alright, sorry for the long wait and anticipation, but I've had a lot of applications that I needed to review and to sync with other applicants and training fields as well as some other stuff I had to take care of. Now that everything is done we can finally start the training. My name is McRazor and I will be your sensei, hopefully until the very last jutsu in this jutsulist. :)

Awesome, now I'll be able to use my Jiraiya Bio. :p
Awesome. :)

Now, before we start with the actual training I want to say a few things. First of all I have chosen to train you after seeing your other training threads and I'm hoping to have a quality training and to pass as much of my own knowledge onto you. For that, I need your full cooperation and I need you to read, think and ask questions. If you can do these things then I'm sure we'll both enjoy the training and it won't be mindless copy-pasting from the jutsu list.

I'll try to explain the core of each jutsu the very best I can and I will sometimes add some possible usages and anything I find interesting about the jutsu and in return I would like you to give me your opinion on the jutsu, how you would use it, how you would defend if it was used against you and so on. In essence, I want this training to be like a discussion instead of me telling you what to do and what not to.

Do you have any questions?

Nope, sounds awesome.

Meanwhile the song eye of the tiger plays on repeat in the background somewhere at all times.
Good. Let's start with some of the very basics. What can you tell me about ninja, chakra and ninjutsu? Please use your own words and tell me everything you think is necessary. I will not grade your response and it's ok if you miss some points. I'm here to add on and fix your mistakes, so no worries.

Ninja are specialized assassins who are skilled in tactics for deceiving the enemy. This means out thinking and not necessarily outperforming the enemy. There are places that teach ninja called hidden villages which have reputations of producing skilled ninja. In Naruto ninja use ninjutsu. Ninjutsu uses chakra to perform. With chakra it can be argued that anything that takes effort uses chakra. It is like someone's will power or lifeforce. To have absolutely no more chakra means death. So of course to make your ninja techniques of deception work, you most put your spirit into it just like an actor or like an athlete.

Alright, a bit shy because there's a lot more to be said about these subjects.

Ninja

A ninja is someone who uses their full abilities in the service of his/hers beliefs, working to achieve a goal. This goal can be anything from peace to war, money, destruction, personal griefs or even revenge and can be shared with others or individual. Most ninjas are fighters and correspond to the bulk of the military force of the great nations. However, a ninja doesn't need to be a fighter. Even medics or a simple carpenter may, in times of need, use his abilities (medical knowledge or abilities in working with wood for example) to accomplish the goals he set to himself, following his beliefs.

Chakra

Chakra is the energy that is formed through the passive combination of both the Physical and the Spiritual energies in a sentient being (every living being with a conscious mind has chakra). Physical energy corresponds to the vitality of the body and its own energy. Spiritual energy corresponds to the mind or spirit, and comes from the awareness and "soul" of each sentient being.

Some ninjas have high levels of chakra because they have great physical energy (like the Akimichi or even Tsunade) and others because of their spiritual energy (like the Uchiha and the Yamanaka). However, its much more difficult to increase the spiritual energy than the physical one, thus why all ninjas pass through intensive physical workout.

Yin and Yang are based on this same concept. Yin is the basis of the spirit while Yang the basis of the body. In this i won't go into more dept because there are 2 things to consider: Yin/Yang manipulation in our RP is different from the manga one and both are more or less inacessible.

Chakra flows in a circulatory system inside your body, in a way that much resembles the blood circulation. This circulatory system has 8 small reservoirs that act as both storage but also chakra regulation. These are the eight inner gates. Along your circulatory system, small "portals" exist that enable you to expell chakra from your body. These are called Tenketsu and there are 361 of them scattered allong the body. When a tenketsu opens, chakra poors out of it. Its by molding the chakra that comes out of the tenketsu that you produce ninjutsu and genjutsu.

Ninjutsu

Ninjutsu, or Ninja Arts, is the ability to, through the use of chakra, accomplish tasks that would be otherwise impossible to do. Ninjutsu are done by 2 stepts: focusing your chakra and molding your chakra. Focusing is using your will power to "will" a portion of your chakra to do something. On the other hand, molding is giving your chakra a set of characteristics that will enable you to produce the desired end effect.

Think of the chakra flow as our breathing. Normally, it happens passively, without any conscious intervention. However, when you need to you can use your will to control it. Its the same with your chakra flow. Its happens normally without your consicious intervention. However, you can focus your chakra and make it produce something.

Now, molding the chakra is done by two basic principles: Shape Manipulation and Nature Transformation. These correspond to the two broad areas that one needs to change in the chakra to produce a jutsu. Shape manipulation pertains to the ability to give your chakra a desired form while Nature transformation pertains to the ability to give your chakra a desired set of characteristics/properties. Sometimes, to better mold chakra, ninja use Handseals. Handseals are simply hand gestures that allow the ninja to more easily concentrate and mold the chakra into the desired technique.

I see I left out quite a bit.
But you shouldn't beat yourself about it. That's why I'm here to fill those gaps you left. :)

Since this is ninjutsu training it won't involve any illusions or nature transformations and we will be solely focused on raw chakra in order to perform our techniques. The problem that comes with ninjutsu is that there are soo many techniques and the easiest way is to try and sort them by similarity for the large groups and clusters and then teach the unique techniques individually. As you will see there are are a lot of variations of weapon based techniques where you unveil a scroll and weapons spawn. As we go through the list I'll try to group them to make it easier. This means that sometimes there will be techniques of higher rank even though you didn't fully complete the lower rank so don't worry. Questions?

Nope, understood. :p
Good, most of the techniques that we will be doing are techniques that involve ninja tools. You manipulate them, multiply, summon from scrolls, etc. The user most known for this is Ten Ten. She is often seen carrying various scrolls with her and with a simple swing of the scroll she could summon waves of weapons that rain down on the opponents. What I want you to do now, is take these scrolls and channel a small amount of chakra into them. Hands you a few scrolls. These scrolls are like chests and your chakra is the key. Once you channel it into the scroll it unlocks it and all you have to do is open it. So, upon channeling your chakra into the lock, envelop the scroll in front of you. As you do so, a stream of various weapons should emerge from it. Make sure you aim at the tree. Points at tree.

Kazuma picks up a small scroll and faces towards a large tree with many cuts and scars from being used for target practice. He opens up the scroll wide out in front of himself facing out. Kazuma then gathers chakra, mentally and physically, focusing upon the energy of body and spirit. Kazuma shapes the chakra so that it flows out from his hands and into the seal that had been placed on the scroll. After using his chakra to activate the seal, Kazuma holds the scroll tightly as a barrage of assorted shuriken are summoned from the scroll, flying deep into the tree.

Excellent. Very well done and I love that you mentioned molding your energies into chakra in order to use the technique.

Now, perform it with two scrolls. Take each into your hands and channel chakra into them as you unveil the scrolls.

Kazuma grunts while bending over to pick up two appropriately sized scrolls. He holds them out from his body, facing towards the tree once again. Kazuma then sort of flicks his wrists to allow the two scrolls to loosen up and unravel, stopping just above the ground. He then calms his mind and body, gathering chakra and letting it flow about freely. After that, Kazuma pressures his chakra to pour through to his hands where he manipulates it to flow out and into the scrolls. He further manipulates the chakra so that it flows into the seals located on the scrolls to activate them, sending a barrage of shuriken and other weapons much larger than from before.

Good. Basically, these two methods are the fundamental movements you use for a group of techniques. The differences are very small and most of them are just some variations and stronger versions of previous techniques. I'll post the list and explain them a bit more thoroughly. And btw. a very huge amount of ninjutsu techniques are character bound so there's actually not much you can even use.

(Soryu no Mai) - Rising Dragon Dance
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user jumps up in the air and then spins at high speed throwing a lot of weapons at thier enemy ranging from shuriken, kunai, shuko and many various other weapons.

This was the first technique you did. Basically, you spin and let the stuff emerge from the scroll. There's not much to it. It's obviously an offensive technique since it uses weapons and not shields, lol. It's a good way to also escape from ground-level jutsus, like small pillars or tremors and stuff like that, since it allows you to jump high and execute an attack.

(Sōgu: Shikyū Geki) - Manipulated Tools: Deadly Spheres Strike
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Desciption: The user pulls out a scroll and rotates it around himself. Many spiked metal balls burst forth from the scroll to strike any nearby opponents or discourage them from using close ranged attacks.

Same as the previous just without the jump. Note that the range of this technique is only short, so you can't really harm stationary targets that are out of your range. However, it's quick and may prevent your opponent from continuing with his intended techniques.

(Sōgu: Fūjin Heki) - Manipulated Tools: Floating Blades Wall
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user unrolls in the floor under the enemy two small scrolls and summons many different weapons from them, taking the enemy into the air. Then they wraps the leg of the enemy with a chain and crushes him back down to the ground.

You perform the throwing motion but actually enroll the scrolls from which different weapons appear and blast the opponent into the air. As the technique says, then you take a chain from the scroll, wrap it around your opponents leg and then crush him into the ground. This technique requires a few moments so it's tricky to perform it. Your best bet would be trapping the opponents somehow, beforehand.

(Sōgu: Dai Tekkai) - Manipulated Tools: Giant Iron Lump
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description:The user takes out a big scroll and waves it in a circle. It turns into a giant chain hammer with a huge metal ball at the end that they then crushes the enemy with. After this move, the chain hammer turns back into a scroll.

Again, you take a scroll and circle it in front of you which creates a chain hammer with a giant metal ball. As i already said, this is a defensive technique and can't really help you defend. However, it's useful in quick battles with short time frames but you don't stand much chance against elemental techniques. You could probably destroy a D ranked earth pillar or wall, for example.

Pretty self explanatory. Once again you use the scroll as a medium to summon the kunai which you throw at the opponent. However, note that they are connected with strings to your hands. This gives you some degree of freedom when launching the attack. Since you can move your hands you could direct the kunai within a few degrees and you could even pull a pierced opponent, just like fishing. :)

(Kuchiyose: Tetsurensa Housou) - Summoning: Iron Chain Wrapping
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
description: The user summons a long chain from a scroll and wraps the enemy with it. When the enemy is trapped, they use another scroll to launch a rain of weapons at the enemy.

One scroll, two scrolls. I lost count. Same repetitive and boring technique as the previous and the latter. You use a scroll to summon a chain and then wrap your opponent with it. After that you summon a rain of weapons from another scroll. This is basically what I said in a previous technique. You trap your opponent and make sure he can't avoid the stream of weapons. However, you'd be better of trapping your opponent with an elemental technique and then blasting him away with another elemental technique. The choice is yours.

(Soushouryuu) - Twin Rising Dragons
Rank: C
Type:Attack
Range:Short-Long
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:30
Description: A summoning technique meant almost exclusively for weapon's experts. To begin, the shinobi will remove two scrolls and set them on the ground, after forming the necessary hand seals, the two scroll rise into the air and begin to swirl around a middle vortex that is the user. They then use this space to launch themselves into the air between the spinning scrolls. From these scrolls the ninja can then summon a mass of weapons, which they then begin to throw at their opponent. If the first barrage fails, they can use wires that run from each weapon to their fingertips to pull them back into the air to strike at their opponent again.

Alright, quite a lengthy technique and the first one in this batch that requires handseals. It's pretty self explanatory and quite detailed, at that. It basically requires a lot of movement which can be a good thing against incoming opponents and it also gives you the ability to use the weapons once again, if the first wave fails. The strings are always a good thing and you can even state in your biography that you have a few shuriken with those. It gives you the extra unpredictability.

(Kuchiyose: Tetsuengo Kabe) -Summoning: Iron Protection Wall
Rank: B
Type: Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user summons a large iron dome from one of their scrolls that covers themselves and even their teammates from enemies' attacks.
Note: Can only defend against B rank and down but doesnt block techniques directed from beneath.

Basically a metal dome that serves as protection. As the note says it only defends against B ranks and you can only use it around yourself and not to capture the opponent. Here's an image to show you how it looks like.

You must be registered for see images

(Sōgu: Maruchiken Ranmyaku) - Manipulated Tools: Multi-Blade Chaos
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user uses two scrolls and makes multiple weapons come out from them and float in the air. After the final blade causes the opponent to fly up into the air, The user uses a chain to bring their opponent down to the ground and then hits them again with the weapons. Using this attack allows the user to summon more weapons than usual for subsequent attacks.

Basically same as Floating Blades Wall. The only difference is that this one continues after the crashing opponent into the ground.

(Sōgu: Sōninju) - Manipulated Tools: Weapon Gun
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user summons several weapons connected together by strings and jumps into the air, reeling them together to stack on top of each other. They then stands on the top weapon on one foot, and twirls backwards, shooting the string-wealed ninja tools at the opponent like a machine gun.

Now we're coming to the weird part of ninjutsu. O_O You summon several weapons and you stand on top of one of them. Then you perform a backwards summersault and as you perform a full turn you shoot the top weapon with your foot and continue doing this until you shot all of them. I don't even have words for this things. It's just weirdness on its best. I seriously doubt you'll ever be in the need of using something like this.

Sōgu: Kaien Geki) - Manipulated Tools: Spinning Swallow Show
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user hits the opponent with a pair of tonfa, then tosses a scroll in the air to summon a bo staff and hits them with it. When the opponent is lying prone on the ground, they summons a huge spiked club and crushes them with it.

Okay, after you hit the opponent with a pair of tonfa which are basically wooden nightsticks. Then you follow by summoning a bo staff which is a regular stick and then you once again summon a spiked club and smack the opponent. The full technique requires you to perform all actions, which means that an opponent with a brain will defend in between your attacks thus making it hard for you to execute the move to the fullest.

(Sōgu: Tenkosai) - Manipulated Tools: Heavenly Steel Disaster
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: Like Manipulated Tools: Heavenly Chain of Destruction, The user unrolls and throws thier large scroll over the enemy. They summons countless Kunai from the scroll to rain down on the enemy before releasing four large chains to force the enemy to the ground as the chains collapse on them.

Now you throw the scroll above the opponent and summon a variety of weapons to rain down on them after which large chains fall onto the enemy and crush him, restricting his movements.

(Sōshōryū Seichuu) - Rising Twin Dragons Control
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: This technique is similar to the normal Twin Rising Dragons, but is an upgraded version. The user doesn't have to hold onto the weapons; they can just send them flying only with a movement of thier hand, which makes the weapons a lot faster. Also, with this new version, The user includes exploding tags in the spread in order to make the technique more effective.

"Upgraded vesion". You don't need the strings but you can manipulate them with your hands which makes the weapons faster. The good thing about these is that they also explode, so you can for example couple that with some elemental techniques that would benefit form explosions.

(Sōgu: Tensasai) - Manipulated Tools: Heavenly Chain of Destruction
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: A stronger version of the Twin Rising Dragons, the user tosses their large scroll into the air above her opponent and summons hundreds of different weapons from it, which then rain down, impaling the opponent and anything in their path. The weapons move so fast that they appear as white streaks.

A very quick and fast technique. You toss the scrolls and the weapons charge at the opponent at blazing speed making it very hard to defend against.

Now, there is one universal way to defend against all of these techniques. I'd really like to hear your opinion.

The user can still only send them as fast as they can throw them so I'd say you could just deflect them all with a sword or something. The movement involved would be very useful. I'd send a more powerful elemental attack to fly right behind it. Possibly suiton so that they'd take defense with earth or something.

I'd defend by taking a step back while sending an attack while they raise up their arm. I think I'd prefer letting someone get close, but I'd use it if I was caught off guard.

I'd defend by throwing explosive tags at the approaching scrolls I suppose. I'd use an attack that effects the ground to make them jump up and then I'd hit them while they are in the air.

I know which jutsu you're talking about. Lol To defend I'd try to use surroundings somehow, like move around in tree branches or something, or I'd use a jutsu. I would send it right behind another jutsu or use it on someone who's moving around.

I'd defend with a quick attack from the ground I guess. I'd use it to make the opponent do something I can react to.

I'd defend against it by... throwing an empty bottle at the idiot perching on top of that mess. I'd use it for the heck of it. I'd use it... I don't even know. :'(

I would defend by using chakra infused weapons. I'd use it against someone wanting to use taijutsu.

I'd defend with my trusty metal dome summon, or just intercept the thrown scroll. I'd use it while using a ground attack.

To defend I would get behind something or meet or with my own attack. I would use this possibly right before the previous jutsu.

I would defend by again intercepting the scroll itself somehow. I would use it against someone hiding behind a shield or wall possibly.

I hope that the method you spoke of was freeform. I think that half the techniques can be halted by simply stopping the scroll from getting where it needs to be. Others can be avoided or even blocked. Hope I'm getting the right idea. :eww:

The user can still only send them as fast as they can throw them so I'd say you could just deflect them all with a sword or something. The movement involved would be very useful. I'd send a more powerful elemental attack to fly right behind it. Possibly suiton so that they'd take defense with earth or something.

I'd defend by taking a step back while sending an attack while they raise up their arm. I think I'd prefer letting someone get close, but I'd use it if I was caught off guard.

I'd defend by throwing explosive tags at the approaching scrolls I suppose. I'd use an attack that effects the ground to make them jump up and then I'd hit them while they are in the air.

To defend against it I'd just throw kunai at them before they could swing it. I think this would just be fun to use. I'd use it against anyone attempting to close in.

(Sōgu: Dai Tekkai) - Manipulated Tools: Giant Iron Lump
Rank: C

Description:The user takes out a big scroll and waves it in a circle. It turns into a giant chain hammer with a huge metal ball at the end that they then crushes the enemy with. After this move, the chain hammer turns back into a scroll.

I know which jutsu you're talking about. Lol To defend I'd try to use surroundings somehow, like move around in tree branches or something, or I'd use a jutsu. I would send it right behind another jutsu or use it on someone who's moving around.

I would toss a stick at it to mess up the chain. I would use it against someone who is busy moving or controlling something I guess... hmm.

I think that you could keep up with deflecting the first barrage if you wanted to. I think it would be best to just hit it with a jutsu head-on, unless you can hide behind something and then use an attack from the ground once they land so that they drop the strings to defend against it. I'd use it when the opponent is busy with something I suppose. o_O

I'd defend against this defense with an attack from the ground. o__o Or I'd use it to defend against a B rank that I don't want to deal with.

Well, yes and no. Yes you have to prevent the scrolls from ever doing what they're designed to, but for that your best bet is using a fire technique to burn the scrolls as soon as possible. Since the scrolls are made of paper they should burn pretty easily.

The other way would be using wind jutsus to blow the weapons away from yourself and preferably back at the opponent. This allows you to take the upper hand in the battle and you should always focus on not only defending but also attacking with the same technique.

I was thinking stuff like pinning the scroll to a tree or something with kunai. I didn't think about using fire though. I think the way I'd use these jutsu is by using the hidden mist jutsu and then spamming it all as much as possible if I could get away with it.

That could work but you would need some type of sensory ability to know where your opponent is. Imagine striking at a blank spot while the opponent flanks you and catches you off guard. That wouldn't be pleasant, would it?
