(NOTE: I have decided to do this fiction backwards, starting with the 3rd story, ending with the 1st. Enjoy!)
*beep* It opens up from a black screen to reveal a medical table with a woman lying on top of it. Her eyes are streaming blood, with cuts around her face, arms, and legs. She is shown in some sort of leather restraints.
"Where is he?!?", said the small, shadowy figure.
"(sobbing) I don't know. I don't know. I want to go..hOOOME! (screams in pains as a large nail is hammered into her hand used for torture)
The shadowy figure speaks again: "It only gets worse from here if you don't cooperate, Ms. Loughts."
The screen fades out as more screams of pain are heard. The scene cuts to the face of Kyle, age 21, who is still in prison from the previous story (which has yet to be told). He opens his eyes from the nightmare, and sits up, covered in sweat and mud from the dirty ground.
He hobbles to his jail cell and looks out of the grating, where he sees a fellow inmate is being led down the long hallway of captured criminals and madmen.
He is unexpectedly let out of his cell, and led down the long hallway following the other guy. He then walks through a very large door, and is led outside where he notices gallows with two nooses already prepared and ready to be used. By him.
He notices the other man try to struggle, but is stabbed in the wrist by one of the officers. Of course, as you may have already realized, this is not a normal prison. This is a prison runned by small creatures known as "Palminites and Anti-Palminites". The Palminites are a race of creatures shaped like a human hand. And of course the Anit-Palminites are the exact counterparts of their original bretheren, only with the exception of multi colored spikes petruding from their backs (in their case, back of the hand). Although they may be small, these creatures posses extrodinary strength and cleverness. Only a few each year show the ability to use elements such as Fire, Water, Psychic, Earth, Air, Electric, Ice, Darkness, and Light.
As the two condemned are led up the stairs, Kyle notices a small glimmer from the watchtower looming over them. He finds this suspicious but thinks very little of it.
"Well, I guess this is it. All my goals and dreams, now about to end. I guess it's not so bad. I had some pretty crazy adventures along the way. But what the hell, it doesn't matter anybody. Soon I shall be dead and the world around me will perish beneath the forces of darkness...", thought Kyle. A tear slowly streams down his face.
A noose is loosly fixed around his neck, then tightened to ensure his fate is sealed. The sun rises, showing the peak of morning. The glimmer of light from the watchtower grows brighter, causing a distraction. Suddenly, the entire arena exploded in a bright light. The light clears to reveal V.E. and Reg, and an army of 50 other Palminites.
