Honestly I thought there was going to be no Dojutsu anymore in this generation, until Chapter 2 of the Gaiden. Though this news makes me really excited.

You know I'm starting to doubt those 'herb specialist' statements we got earlier. Sarada was moving like an Uchiha, throwing shurikens and stepping on chains. A Sharingan user will limit herself to medical ninjutsu? I don't think so.

I think medical ninjutsu will be part of her arsenal, as well as CES, but she will also use her Sharingan and fire release probably, could be a deadly combination if you ask me (Super strength + pre-cognition + healing).

As for Boruto, I wouldn't be surprised if he starts using kyuubi chakra from an asspull, I don't think he will get SM, I wanted him to combine gentle fist with his father's techs but so far it doesn't seem like he has anything to do with the Hyuuga unfortunately. As long as he stays away from a generic Rasengan it's cool.

She has not really displayed anything out of the ordinary for a shinobi. She only threw ... was it kunai? Which Sakura back at Part 1 did all the time during the Forest of Death, but Kishimoto is going old school a bit here. As for her being a medical shinobi, I really don't care much about it. I agree with you, it might be a secondary thing, but so far I don't see any practical reason for her to be a medical shinobi on Sakura's level in terms of super strength, and etc. Impossible unless this turns into a GT series.

My take is she probably knows a lot about healing, herbs, and she has the basic medical ninjutsu. Probably scapel, but we have not really seen her use Ninjutsu or chakra for that matter. So I can't say for ceratin.

As for Boruto/Himawari, I doubt them having any Kyuubi chakra in the bodies. So far only Naruto/Demon brothers have displayed that kind of power, and one was the Jinchuriki (born with the whiskers through his mother being a Jin) and the Demon brothers ate the insides of Kurama and cultivated the chakra somehow being related to the Sage of Six Paths.

It is a genetic trait, much like how Naruto was born with it, but instead he had three. But I can't say anything on Boruto's abilities because much like Sarada, he has not had a real fight, and the only confirmed ability he can use is the Shadow Clone Jutsu. Whether or not Kishimoto intends to go a Hyuuga route, a Minato route, or something else, it all depends in the movie. Because right now I doubt we are going to see anything like that soon.

Funny both of his parents suck and genjutsu , never surpassing part 1 Sakura. And both of Sarada's parents excel at it
