As we both know, Kushina was tranferred there. As in, the village needed a specific person. They neeeded an Uzumaki. Naruto being an Uzumaki, was even entrusted with the Kyuubi after just being born.

Alas, this is the scan I was thinking of. Sir Dirp belies it to imply the passing down of the RDS, which logically makes sense and I believe it. There's no concrete proof, however.

He used a single finger sign to do the sealing, whether it's a SO6P or not, it's a proof that Uchiha are better sealing users than Uzuamki.

He admits that it's physically and conceptually impossible for him to seal the kyuubi completely even with 2 different seals.
Obito sealed the Gedo and the jubi with 1 finger sign seal.
