Well that's not necessarily true. Kushina did die but at the end of the day it was Kurama who landed the final blow. She managed to survive for quite some time. Being said that, if Naruto gets proper medical care, he might indeed survive. After all, Kurama did say something to Gaara.

Her dying wasn't that she couldn't handle the extraction. It was because she decided to shoot out thousands of magical plot-chains, bind Kyuubi and then get impaled before being sealed away by Minato. If only Kyuubi was extracted and they let her rest, get her some medical attention, maybe some food and whatnot she would've probably lived on.
Main character won't suddenly die, this isn't DBZ where you can just wish someone back every other day. He will survive and show us some of dat sexy SM power and show us some new feats. After all, SM is more rare than being a Jinchuuriki, should be very powerful indeed.
