Hashirama's biggest threat, was madara...him, and all the previous hokage before naruto, had it easier, because they didn't have to face such high level threat, as naruto.
Naruto's biggest threat, were "gods"...that could eat forbidden fruits, or atleast someone who has or can defeat a god.On top of that,he's in an era where everything is more advanced. Don't forget about the potential threat of ninja tech...
