The Hokage and Kazekage
Deidara was so mad that he started punching his clay bird in the back of the head but seconds later he calmed down, smiled at Naruto and said.
Deidara: “Katsu!”
The clay bird exploded but not before Naruto could use his Flying Thunder God technique to transport himself to the kunai that was furthest away. He appeared next to Gaara who was holding his kunai.
Naruto: “Nice to see you again Gaara.”
Gaara: “Yes, it is nice to see you too Naruto.”
Gaara threw the kunai at Naruto and he caught it and put it away.
Naruto: “We’ve got a big problem on our hands here don’t we?”
Gaara: “Yes, we do and if I had known about this I would’ve brought a sealing team with me but I just came here to escort your villagers across the desert, I was not prepared for a battle.”
Naruto: “None of us were prepared for this; Deidara just came out of nowhere and began to blow up the camp.”
Gaara: “I advise that you tell whatever shinobi you brought with you to begin escorting the villagers again tell them to head in that direction.”
Gaara turned and pointed to the east.
Gaara: “If they keep moving in that direction they will reach Sunagakure in four hours and twenty eight minutes.”
Naruto: “You got it, Gaara.”
Naruto ran to find Konohomaru and within minutes he finally did.
Naruto: "Konohomaru I want you and the others to get the villagers moving again just keep going in the direction we were going in okay, as soon as possible.”
Konohomaru: “You got it, Naruto.”
Konohomaru then ran off to get the others and then they all began to get the villagers moving east again. Naruto sprinted back to Gaara only to find him standing face to face with Deidara.
Naruto: “You’re not going to get away with this Deidara, Gaara and I are much stronger than the last time you were here being used by Edo Tensei.”
Gaara stood there remaining silent. Naruto could see the killing intent in his eyes.
Deidara: “I wasn’t sent here to kill you two I was sent here to kill all the villagers of Konohagakure!”
Deidara jumped on his newly moulded clay bird and then he flew right over the villagers and began to drop mini clay bombs on them, they fell for about four seconds before sand closed over all of them and made sure they wouldn’t explode. A sand cloud formed under Gaara and he began to hover above the ground. He then held out his hand and Naruto knew exactly what he had in mind.
Naruto: “Kage Bunshin no jutsu!”
Naruto made a shadow clone appear next to him, he then held out his hand and the shadow clone began to make very fast movements with both of his hands. Chakra began to spiral around in the original Naruto’s hand and then the chakra formed into a perfect sphere. Gaara began to fly at top speed with Naruto trailing in the air behind him, they were very close to Deidara now and they both saw him retrieve another clay penguin from his pouch, but he wasn’t quick enough because Gaara threw Naruto straight at Deidara before he could even react. Naruto aimed straight for Deidara’s heartless chest.
Naruto: “RASENGAN!”
Naruto hit Deidara exactly where he wanted and knocked him off of the bird. They hit the sand hard and they were both hurt badly but Deidara was much worse. The Rasengan that Naruto hit him with left him inches from life but he wasn’t dead. Naruto got up and walked over to the crater that was left by Deidara’s impact.
Naruto: “You were always too obsessed with your art to pay attention to your surroundings Deidara.”
Gaara landed next to Naruto and looked down at Deidara.
Gaara: "We just need to impair his movements for now and then take him with us back to Sunagakure."
Naruto: “Gaara, wait I can’t feel any chakra from him at all the real Deidara must have flew off again and left this clone in his place.”
Deidara: “Well spotted brat!”
Naruto then realised that this Deidara was a clay clone that would explode within seconds so he quickly used the Flying Thunder God technique in order to get himself and Gaara out of there. They ended up appearing at the front of the huge party of villagers where Konohomaru, Sakura, Neji and Lee were. He then looked up and saw a massive bird in the sky its head was as big as the entire area of all of the villagers and it was doing a nosedive with the intention of killing all of the villagers with one final piece of art.
Naruto: “I will not let this happen.”
Naruto reached into his pouch and took out his specially made kunai originally used by his Father. He then performed a couple of hand signs and held the kunai up in the air so that the jutsu formula was facing the giant bird. The bird flew straight down but it didn’t hit the ground it hit the air above the ground and plunged through it ending up 100’s of feet away where the explosion could still be seen and heard but it didn’t harm the villagers. Deidara began to reform again where the explosion had happened and when he had fully reformed Naruto appeared out of nowhere hitting him with a Rasengan twice the size of a normal one. Deidara couldn’t move again he was closer to death than ever before and Naruto made sure he wasn’t a clone this time.
Deidara: “But, how?”
Naruto: “When I hit you with that first Rasengan I placed a teleportation jutsu formula on your chest just in case I needed it and apparently I did.”
Gaara arrived and began to form a sand barrier around Deidara but before he could finish a wooden coffin suddenly burst out of the ground and it enclosed Deidara, then the lid closed on it and it retracted back into the ground.
Naruto: “We were so close!”
Gaara: “You’ve grown Naruto; you have become mature enough to accept the burden of being a kage.”
Naruto: “Yeah, I guess I have.”
Naruto put both of his hands behind his head and a huge grin appeared on his face. Gaara and Naruto began to try and catch up with the villagers but they knew it would be a much longer journey than they had hoped for.
