Back in the days of dominance by Senju, Uchiha and somewhat Uzumaki, people have come to know their clan names and this forge respect and fear.
Fast forward to today (young Naruto and current Naruto), the name Uzumaki doesn't send chills down anyone's spine.
Think of how many times Naruto said "I am Uzumaki Naruto, remember my name", "I am Uzumaki Naruto, I am going to be Hokage one day!"
When the modern era people heard the name Uzumaki, they dont have any real reaction. Instead, we can see an reaction on their faces when the name Uchiha was mentioned.
Now there are some threads theorising that the Sage of the 6 Paths was an Uzumaki. Now if he was so famous as a Uzumaki, it should make sense that Naruto's full name should strike a fear among people when his name was heard.
No?
