No way in hell, Karin's chains has not the same power as Kushina's, she only has four and the were wrecked by Mokuton, she is not defeating Tsunade nor Sakura.
For the record, Karin was awesome, but she only broke some of the Statue's hands.

She broke 4 hands of the statue at best, and the chains were destroyed by Mokuton, her technique are not as powerful as Kushina's, and she has only 4 of them.
Yes Oro was impressed, is her first offensive feat. But Hashirama was impressed by Sakura, and stated she might be even stronger than Tsunade.
I think Karin was great, but she is no match for Sakura.

Yes, Karin's a more capable healer, but tsunade and sakura are far superior medics.

Unlike karin, who needs a shitload of chakra, to heal anyone. Tsunade and sakura can just perform surgery.

If you put it in MMORPG terms (depending on which you play, if it has a medic). It's the difference between one medic who only increases the amount of health he can heal, and another medic who increases the strength of the 'buffs/boosts' they can provide while maintaining a very high heal rate. In most cases, the guy who can provide 'buffs' is a lot better to have on your team than the guy who can heal up a shit load of health in a short time.

Look at Karin's body, and look at the size of the chains. That automatically makes her a long range fighter. Obviously, you're going to have a problem even if she misses and hit someplace close by, now imagine the 5 chains (that's how many I counted) coming down all at once in different locations, but within close proximity of the target. Will they even be able to clear the area in time? Remember, these chains are long.

Also, the chains didn't break, more like Obito stabbed the spot where the chains are manifested and secured, ripping into her and causing them to come loose. It's all in the page I linked.


As for the medic, nah. Tsunade and Sakura are way too versatile. They can heal multiple people at once, and not only remove poisons, but create antidotes for them.

I'm guessing that Karin will now have a fanbase. I doubt she can beat Tsunade though but she might be able to beat Sakura, however having a giant boss summon on their side would give them the victory.

I don't see how her being able to tank Zetsu's attack making her top tier.

First off, if she was as durable as she was shown here, she'd have beat up Danzo with no problem.

I think she's just panicking like mad, which helps in battle scenario's.

But she can tank, i'll give her that.

Karin just showed in this chapter that if she was properly trained then she would be VERY strong. She def has the potential to be even stronger then Tsunade if she was trained right. Karin doesn't know how to fight at all and she is gifted with this type of power. Just imagine if she learned how to control her Uzumaki powers and use them in the art of fighting.
