When Op says clan, what should we consider to make sure things stay generalized to the clan? Obviously, Clan techniques only. Uzumakis don't have much offensive techniques; Hyugas do

So non-clan powers shouldn't count.

Also, Hiashi and Hinata are strong; as well as Hizashi. Let's not forget that most normal uzumakis, like Karin or Kushina, can't do much

Hyuga were feared to; and their powers seeked - \But they weren't destroyed because they didn't isolate themselves from others.

Besides, it was their fuinjutsu that got them well known, not their battle skills; which may very well explain why they got wiped out so easily

Yes they are because they lived in the most powerful village filled with powerful clans and hokage's. The uzumaki on the other hand were on their own. This is the reason why they were destroyed. If they had joined the leaf they would have still been around

Long life, high stamina, the being able to contain tailed beasts better than others (someone had asked about that, 3. Mito Uzumaki, Kushina Uzumaki, and now Naruto Uzumaki. All jinchuriki of the Kyuubi). They were highly proficient in sealing which is remarked as one of the most difficult types of justu to master and because that, some of the great 5 were planning to kill them off and forced them to scatter.

It's sort of hard not to feel some sort of respect for them.
