Now that we are in the chapter where Konoha was already founded, and the Uzumaki Clan's very noticeable absence, it is safe to conclude that the Uzumakis were not descendants of the Senjus, nor were they close relatives or a Brother/Sibling Clan with them, The Uzumakis were indeed very distant blood relatives as Kushina stated, and most probably older than both the Uchiha and Senju Clans.
