who was the uzumaki clan originated from?:ice: i have a feeling its superior then the senju in some way naruto is going to get something special nagato is a uzumaki and he was chosen to hold the renningan by tobi which is awkward why was he chosen and why do uzumaki still live after bijuu extraction? there special and i know it:ice:

They are distant cousins of the senju meaning they both share the younger son of the sage as an ancestor. The younger son was blessed with the sage's body so they as well as the Senju have healing and stamina. Simple as that. As far as nagato he didnt receive the rinnegan naturally.

I think the same way, and one of the main reasons was the sealing he was capable of... i mean look at the senju and Uchihna... they haven't shown any impressive abilities regarding sealing (and especially for a Jinchuriki).
And he surely had their life force... Before he died, he was able to split the ten tails in to the current 9 tailed beasts (and this means he had to release the seal and the Jiuby was free) and to seal it's body up in the moon... now if that's not impressive for an old man then i don't know what is.

So even if the Manga says that the Uzumaki are distant relatives of the Senju, the possibility that the Uzumaki are direct descendants of the SO6P himself is not excluded.
