Exactly how strong was the Uzumaki clan

well no1 know's but apparently they were so strong and feared that they were killed but if you think about it...if a clan was so strong and feared how can they be killed? shouldn't they die by age rather than killed?

Well the uchiha clan was considered strong and they were ahnialatted by a teenager...a genius teenager but one none the less

They were strong, if not then they wouldn't have been feared and destroyed.
And an ambush attack, a stealth mission is always harder to counter than a direct attack... if the enemy has a good plan, and if they are the ones to make the first move, they clearly have the upper hand... so just because they were wiped (we don't know exactly how, or by who) it doesn't mean that they were weak, and couldn't protect themselves.

Well the great Kaguya clan was also killed even though they had a great Kekkei Genkai, how did 1/2 members of Uchiha kill the entire clan? People team up, people make mistakes, its not unheard of for a great clan to die.

Yah exactly so we need to know how they die...if they were strong as they claim to be cause 1 genius shouldn't be able to do it even with tobi...if so...one person i think who can is Madara and that's maybe
