Ahsura's battle avatar and its origin has been widely debated, some saying its bijuu gifted, others saying its not.

Though there is one small detail that hints Ashura can manifest his chakara into a avatar much like Indra.

Uzumaki and thier chakra chains. Yes, chakra chains is quite the small feat compared to chakra avatars, so small thats its barely any relation to the 2 techniques. But the point is If the Uzumaki (or some) were capable of forming chakra contructs, then Ashura being thier rightful ancestor from which they decended, should be able to perform that same technique, but to a higher degree - hence the avatar.

Considering the Uzumaki clan was most likely formed hundreds of years are their time it's very unlikely he had that ability. It's like saying black people dabbed 500 years ago...it's probably something new or maybe undiscovered within the clan due to it's rarity.

Maybe.....but intertwining the logic of the real World with Naruto often comes with a slew of contradictions and misleading information. Ashura having the ability is very plausible, much like the sharigan being passed down through hundreds of years. One thing we learned are Otsutsuki genes are very potent and dominate, so that years of outbreeding didnt drown the genes out.

Ashura was able to use life energy to construct an asura image but also able to form truth seeking orb like other RSM user. That's basically all there is to it from Ashura. The uzamaki chakra chains just look like a copy of what the gedo statue can do and vice versa.
