Since the forums are finally dying down... I guess I'll give everyone one more for the road. I can't say it's uplifting, but some may find comfort in it anyways.

It's impossible to change the past
And you can't undo what is done
Sometimes moving on can put the pain to rest at last
But not everything is erased by the morning sun

There's no do overs or second chances
Not in reality anyways
I could say I'm satisfied with my last dances
But sometimes I feel like an actor in terrible plays

There's no way past the truth in the light
And in the dark you can only hide for so long
You can continue to fight
But that just leads to another sad broken song

If it was possible to make everything right
I'd make the world a Utopia
But I can't even make one life a little more bright
How could ever create such a euphoria?

I'd like to create a cure for mankind
But love breads hate
And it's impossible to do a rewind
So I guess we'll all just have to live with fate

The world will never be a Utopia for anyone
Not today or tomorrow
We'll just have to do our best under the blistering sun
And learn to live and let go....​
