So, Usopp lost.. horrible.. against Sugar and Trebol.. mostly Trebol.
Not really to surprising when he went up loudly against Trebol like that.
But.. here's my question. Am I the only one noticing that Usopp actually had a way easier and way less painfull option readily available to him????
I mean, here look at the facts.
Usopp's mission is to knock Sugar unconcious, he doesn't have to do any-thing to Trebol.
Sugar, is not very strong, the dangerous thing about her is that you can't touch her, at all. Other than that, she's weak.
Trebol, is strong because you can't really harm him with physical blows, they just go straight through him and he moves forward.
So really, the problem is how to get to sugar without Trebol killing you first.. oki doke.
Usopp is nope.. not very strong.
He is though.. a very good sniper... A sniper
Snipers are pretty nasty pieces of work in most areas, because by simply being quiet, patient and dead precise, they can take down enemies that should be way stronger than them.
By being quiet, hide around, and finish the job in one dead precise shot.
Why didn't Usopp do that?
He.. he didn't have to announce his own presence at all. I don't believe that Trebol would be fast enough to pull Sugar out of the way from a shot, and sugar wouldn't be quick enough to dodge it.. all Usopp had to do, was to wait around in hiding, until he got a clear shot.
He even had one earlier as him and Robin hides around behind a wall and neither Sugar nor Trebol has seen them yet.
So the Gnomes had the grape plan going on, fine. Remember Thriller bark?
Where.. Usopp just kind of shot salt stars into the mouths of the Zombies thus following them to swallow.. why didn't he do that?
He didn't have to bother with Trebol at all, just shoot the grape into Sugars mouth.
