He's actually got a point. I was thinking power wise (which should be Chopper) but that's not all that matters in a fight. I say Nami too

He is brillaint. And you are right. Naive would be a better word. Usopp's Lies > Choppers brain.

Usopp will have a good chance of setting up his traps and I don't see Chopper beating Usopp without atleast landed in one trap. When Chopper falls, it'll just be Usopp and Nami but by that time, Usopp will have his traps prepared and Nami will have no choice but to summon lightning. Usopp has the Impact Dial. It'll absorb the attack and send it back at Nami.

If its anything but Close distance Usopp dominates. Usopp when introduced was so fast Luffy couldnt keep up. Usopp is still fast enough to get away from chopper so if they litterally inst riight next to him then Usopp flees and abuses choppers lack of range.. even monster chopper couldnt catch him so he jsut gets bombarded till he is out.

You're assuming that Chopper is the only one fighting and they're just sitting waiting for opportunities... and Chopper is too fast for them to land a hit on, his defense is way higher than there's and he can sniff out the real nami using his nose...
