This is the third thread I've seen made on the subject, teleportation = shunshin.

That's not a viz scan. Non Viz scan claiming Teleportation is Shunshin doesn't make Shunshin teleportation.

I forgot to add this, but having Rikkudo senjutsu also increases the chance he learned it as it gives universal comprehension of chakra with the skill of a well-studied highly sensitive master. If he trained for FTG, he could learn it pretty quickly.

Yes, and the Shintenshin no Jutsu is "Art of the Valentine" in the Viz, which is completely different to the literal meaning. The head translator for Naruto at Viz, Morimoto, admitted they alter the text to suit the American audience. It's only official because Viz Media is a Shueisha subdivision, the people who publish WSJ, not because they have contact with Kishimoto (because they don't, he himself has said on several occasions he hasn't been aware of Naruto's presence outside of Japan) or because the translations are any better. And to top it off, only one translator at Viz is full-time, the rest are freelance.

Viz has always called FTG either a) Flying Thunder God Jutsu or b) Flying Raijin Jutsu. And Shunshin no Jutsu is changed to Teleportation Jutsu.

The sound effects for ftg and shunshin are different, the sound effects that Naruto has been making in the last chapter, are that of shunshin.
He even has motion lines on him, showing that he was moving at fast speeds

The other side to this is that, if the Hokage's residence is remains right outside the monument, then it's plausible that Naruto used Hiraishin to get to the top of the monument [Although he previously used body flicker to get to Kaguya].

I wouldn't be surprised if Kishimoto eventually revealed in the movie that Naruto learned Hiraishin.

But again, arguing he possesses it with this kind of evidence is a weak position.

I more or less agree. I'm not going to say Naruto having FTG is a fact at all, but I think it might be, but I'm going to criticize those that make bad arguments none the less.(not you, the guys below me barring the last one)

We have to understand that Naruto has evolved greatly since the War, hence we should expect some more power to his base status. And with that Hashirama prosthetic arm his chakra vitality has significantly increased, hence I believe his Shunshin no Jutsu is actually adequate to reach that distance i so little time and capture bolt.

In regards to Rin calling YF's FTG a Shunshin we have to remember that Shunshin was a somehwat global jutsu and people good enough chakra control (We've only seen high ranking ninja use it though) could achieve it. It is possible that Minato ACTUALLY Shunshin to that poor shinobi's neck without a mark or anything. Basically,

FTG+Shunshin= Minato.​

Then again this is my O.P.I.N.I.O.N. You don't have to agree, feel meh?

However, he probably mastered the body flicker technique to the tenth degree. Basically to a point where it rivals the speed of FTG.
I think that's the most realistic possibility.
