I remember Sasuke being able to induce emotions(fear) in Kabuto at the beginning of part 2.

Surely, one can use the Sharingan to induce happiness as well.

But with the correct application the opposite can be applied. Just give the other person a crazy rush of happiness as if they were taking esctacy.

Of course. That is why Madara is doing Infinite Tsukuyomi. He doesn't plan to get out. He could get high for all of eternity if he wanted to.
