Water Release is one of the five basic elements. It requires the use of pre-existing water while some does not because the user itself creates the water. Suiton can be shaped and one can change its state as well.
Uses - Most suiton techs are offensive or supplementary. This is because water is more of an offensive type, ie water comes out of the mouth. It can also be used as supplementary because its ability to change shape has made it more convenient. There are also some defense types but they are not too many.
Forms - The regular water is mostly used in the form of water techniques. A Konoha shinobi, Izumo, has exhibited water style skill with his Starch Syrup technique, immobilizes anyone who gets in contact with it.

Since you've never molded suiton chakra before try acquiring a strong mental image of the nature of water (a description of water's characteristics) and mold a portion of your chakra to mimic that nature. Then channel suiton chakra into a water source and manipulate it with your chakra to create a small wave. After that, try raising water in the form of a small wall and then shooting a small water blast from the water source. That's the basic suiton jutsu. It could also be done without a water source by converting suiton chakra into water released from your mouth, hands, etc. When you're done with the first three try it once without a water source.

Alluka kneads her chakra and imagines a strong mental image of water—how it flows, how gentle, its color, how free flowing. She thinks of Earth's water—the seas, oceans, lakes, and shinobi's every day drinking water. As she continues to think about it, she tries to use nature manipulation on her chakra to convert it to something like water. After she somehow felt that she molded it successfully, she goes near a small lake and channels her chakra to it. She manipulates the said water to create a small wave of water; imagining the waves in the sea. The small wave however was small so it did not reach very far. After, she channels her chakra and manipulates it to rise up and form a small wall, not big enough to protect her. After, she channels her chakra again to make small blasts of water; like shooting a water gun. It came out of the water and blasted. She stands up and leaves the lake. She then uses her newly converted Water chakra and sends it to her palms. She imagines a strong image of a sword and uses shape manipulation to do so, thus creating a sword which Alluka swings around.
Nicely done. Here's one completely different than the last. First, perform what looks like the tiger handseal except your left hand is raised. Then send suiton chakra into any source of water and raise some into the air while separating the water particles. This would allow them to hang in the air as a thick mist covering an area, concealing your position and giving you the opportunity to attack stealthily or escape. By focusing suiton chakra in your lungs and converting it to mist you could exhale it from your mouth instead. Try it out.

Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.

Alluka kneads her chakra and uses nature manipulation to turn it to Water chakra. She then stands over a nearby lake. She performs the tiger hamdseal and raises her left hand. She sends the Water chakra to the lake below her. Some water particles rise up and as it continues, a thick mist is successfully created. Alternatively, Alluka sends her Water chakra to her mouth after travelling to her lungs. She walks over to solid ground. She turns the said chakra to fog. She releases the said fog from her mouth to the environment, creating another thick mist.
Great job. For this jutsu i want you to gather suiton chakra in your hand and produce water condensed to form a solid sword you can use just like a normal sword. There's your target.

As her sensei pointed at the failure-to-copy-sensei-dummy, she quickly kneaded her chakra and used nature manipulation to turn it to Water chakra. She sends her chakra through her chakra points up to her right hand. She releases the chakra carefully and as she does, she uses shape manipulation to shape it to a sword. As the sword has formed, she condensed it to make it solid, which creates a solid water sword. Back to her knees, Alluka ran towards the failure-to-copy-sensei-dummy and slashes it in a straight line in the stomach, thus slicing it, making the upper body fall down to the ground.
As her sensei readies to throw the kunais at her, she kneads her chakra and uses nature manipulation to turn it to Water chakra. She lifts her right hand in front of her, and releases the chakra to form water. The water was shaped like a shield with the use of Alluka's chakra. As her sensei threw the kunais, the Water was shaped a shield ready to block the attack. Ok. Now perform the Rat, Dog, and Ox handseals. Like the previous technique, produce water in your hand and apply shape manipulation to form a long cord of water used to lash your target like a whip or bind them by wrapping their limbs. An appropriate lightning technique may be channeled through the cord to deliver a shock to the enemy like the Lightning Release technique. Catch that theif!

This is a stream of sticky liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few metres, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channelling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand.
For this jutsu, perform the Tiger handseal and transform pre-existing water into a clone of yourself to fight for you and even perform water jutsu. The downside is the clone cannot be further than short range from you without reverting back into water. The same happens when it takes enough damage. Try it out and have your clone perform a jutsu.
(Mizu Bunshin) - Water Release: Water Clone

As Alluka sees the Pein carrying a pack of Doritos, Alluka kneads her chakra and uses nature manipulation to turn it to Water chakra. As she does she performs the handseals Rat -> Dog -> Ox. She sends her chakra through her chakra points to her right hand and releases it. By concentrating enough and by the use of shape manipulation, Alluka manipulates the released water chakra that became chakra to shape it to a whip. The whip becomes long enough to reach the Pain who rested for a bit to eat a few Doritos. She holds the whip with her two hands and readies to whip the Pein. As the Pein eats another chip, Alluka whips the Pein's back, making it drop the Doritos. Alluka walks over to pick it up. She sees the Pein on the floor having his own problem of back pain.
As the Peins take their respective blades, Alluka kneads her chakra and uses nature manipulation to turn it to Water chakra. She uses shape manipulation to turn the chakra to something of high-viscosity. She also infuses much of her chakra to it. As she gathered enough she sends the chakra to her mouth. Afterwards, she channels some chakra to her feet. As she spit it out, the chakra has been converted to water, something with high-viscosity. As she spills enough of the sticky substance, she made sure that it had affected the three Peins. After, she watches the Peins struggle coming out, Alluka walks freely and takes each of their swords to stab each of them.

Excellent. Now focus suiton chakra in a nearby water source and manipulate the water, compressing it into multiple pointed streams directed at your target. The spinning motion and density of the streams make this technique more lethal than most water jutsu. If your enemy is standing on water you could even attack from any angle you wish. There's your target.

Alluka stands onto the lake where the Pein was. As she sees him in bliss, Alluka wishes for him to become miserable. She kneads her chakra and uses nature manipulation to turn it to Water chakra. She channels her chakra to the water around the Pein. By the use of shape manipulation, she makes four pointed streams attack the Pein as he jumped in bliss. This causes him to fall onto the water and... drown.
As Alluka uses the Hidden Mist jutsu on her surroundings, she tries this jutsu out. She kneads her chakra and uses nature manipulation to turn it to Water chakra. She uses her chakra to manipulate every water molecule in the mist. By using shape manipulation, she changes the molecule's shape to make the natural light enter. As the light enters the mist, Alluka can see that anyone in the mist would be blinded.
Alluka claps her hands after seeing the Peins running out in the forest. By using her chakra, she created a spiralling vortex of water around her in a vortex like manner. It then cascades to the Peins in a wave. It rampages the Peins and deals some great damage on them.

Alright. Now i want you to perform the Bird, Rat, Ox, Monkey, Rat, and Snake handseals before sending suiton chakra throughout the sky and generating rainclouds in moments. Make rain fall from the clouds that should be infused with your chakra which is linked to your senses, allowing you to detect the chakra of someone the rain falls on. Performing the seals again stops the rain. Would you like to play a game? Pick the right door.

(Suiton: Ukojizai no Jutsu) - Water Style: Rain Tiger at Will Technique

Description: A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra after waving the Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake hand seals. The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.
Next, perform the Snake, Ram, Horse, Hare, Ram, Horse, and Hare handseals. Then hold your hands out towards a target close to you while near a source of water. Manipulate the water to engulf your target in a sphere dense enough that your target can't move and will eventually drown. However, to maintain this jutsu one of your hands must be inside of the orb. Alternatively the water may be spit from the mouth instead. Try it on this guy.

(Suiton: Suirou No Jutsu) - Water Style: Water Prison

Description: This technique is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water by waving the Snake → Ram → Horse → Hare → Ram → Horse → Hare → Hands spread in front palms out. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This technique requires a sufficient amount of water, which can be provided by expelling it from one's mouth. Once trapped the target is unable to move while within it due to the heaviness of the water. Because of the density of the water it can be used, to a limited extent, for defensive purposes if performed on oneself. Water clones can be used in preparation for the technique, which block an opponent's attack and trap the attacker in the prison using the clone's own water.
For this jutsu simply channel suiton chakra throughout your body and transform yourself into liquid. In liquid form you avoid taking most forms of physical damage and can move as a puddle but can't much else until you reform. Try it out, quick.

Description: A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra after waving the Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake hand seals. The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.
Next, perform the Snake, Ram, Horse, Hare, Ram, Horse, and Hare handseals. Then hold your hands out towards a target close to you while near a source of water. Manipulate the water to engulf your target in a sphere dense enough that your target can't move and will eventually drown. However, to maintain this jutsu one of your hands must be inside of the orb. Alternatively the water may be spit from the mouth instead. Try it on this guy.

Description: This technique is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water by waving the Snake → Ram → Horse → Hare → Ram → Horse → Hare → Hands spread in front palms out. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This technique requires a sufficient amount of water, which can be provided by expelling it from one's mouth. Once trapped the target is unable to move while within it due to the heaviness of the water. Because of the density of the water it can be used, to a limited extent, for defensive purposes if performed on oneself. Water clones can be used in preparation for the technique, which block an opponent's attack and trap the attacker in the prison using the clone's own water.
For this jutsu simply channel suiton chakra throughout your body and transform yourself into liquid. In liquid form you avoid taking most forms of physical damage and can move as a puddle but can't much else until you reform. Try it out, quick.

As Alluka sees the walls, she smiles while getting ready to play the game. She kneads her chakra, uses nature manipulation to turn it to Water chakra, and performs the handseals Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake. She sends her Water chakra to the sky above, generating rain clouds in mere moments. As the rain falls onto the three doors, she detects the tied-up Pein's chakra in the second door. She performs the seals again to release the jutsu. She walks over to the second door, opens it, throws a kunai at him, killing him. Mission success.
Alluka runs toward a lake and walks over it, making the Pein follow. Before he reaches Alluka, Alluka kneas her chakra, uses nature manipulation to turn it to Water chakra and weaves the handseals Snake → Ram → Horse → Hare → Ram → Horse → Hare. She holds out her right hand just as the Pein reached her. She manipulates the water to shape it into an orb, which is dense enough. The Pein was unable to move, and later drowns. Alluka releases the jutsu and walks away, not caring of the Pein's safety at all.

Alluka sees Preta standing on water. She becomes naughty. She kneads her chakra and uses nature manipulation to turn it to Water chakra. She channels her chakra to the water below Preta. By manipulating it, she makes it spiral inward creating a whirl pool. It sucks in the Preta and drowns him.
