Hello, pupil! I apologize for my lateness, i get lost from time to time. Before i start teaching you earth release, tell me what you already know about it so i know you have the basic knowledge.

Earth Release is one of the basic elemental nature transformation techniques. It can manipulate the surrounding earth to be used how ever the user see's fit. The user of Earth Release can change the destiny of the earth making it really soft and passable or really hard and un-breakable. The user can also use it to travel through ground and rock. Earth Release user's are common among the ninja of Iwagakure.

Earth is strong against water because earth naturally contains water but weak against lightning because it can easily travel through and break up the earth.
Earth can be used with Fire Release and other release to create many different Releases such as Wood Release, Lava Release, and Dust Release.

Yamato

Excellent. Now i want you to get a strong mental image of the essence of earth and convert your chakra to the earth nature. Then send a small amount of chakra into the ground and try to raise three small pillars from the ground, each with a different shape.

*I sit down and close my eyes and clap my hands together. As I concentrate and focus my chakra I see earth in my head. I picture how it looks, feels, how it crumbles and how its strong. I picture my chakra just like earth. I picture it as a steady force all around us and make my chakra the same. As I am doing this I am steadily flowing my chakra into the ground. My chakra is then molding with the earth below me. Soft yet hard when I want. The earth below me is now mine to control. I try to grasp the right density for a steady pillar of earth but yet soft enough to move but strong to stand and rise. I then focus on how to shape the earth. Molding my chakra to take form and shape. When I finally think I have it down I slowly but steadily rise a squar pillar to my right. Then another one to my left but a circle. I then start rise as well. Focusing my Doton chakra I make a triangle pillar right below me lifting me in the air. When it is the same height of the other two I stop and stand and await for the next stage of wisdom Ushiro Sempai has to offer me.*

I want you to dig into the ground and hide in it. Then move beneath me and try to pull me into the ground by my leg until only my head is on the surface, trapping me in the ground while you emerge from it.

*I close my eyes and begin to concentrate hard focusing on my Doton chakra. I then change the density of the ground below me making it soft and passable. I then begin to sink downward and soon totally below the ground making the ground that I just passed through hard again. I then tunnel my way towards Sempais location and when I'm under him I reach out my hands making the ground soft again and grab his ankles. As I pull him downward I make the ground soft and hard again so he cant move upwards. When I finally got all but his head below the ground I then climb back up the the surface again making the earth soft and hard again with each movement. I just used

Be careful when using this on a lightning release user; you may get shocked as soon as he sees you have grabbed him. On to the next one:

Description: This technique allows the user to take a small chunk of rock and turn it into the shape of a staff. The user can then use it as a melee weapon or throw it with pinpoint accuracy at their opponent. A variation of this technique allows the user to create several staffs and launch them at the target, but with less accuracy.

Find any chunk of rock laying around and mold it into the shape of a staff. I'll make a rock clone that you'll throw the staff at. Try aiming for his head.

*I look around for a piece of earth. Going towards the pillar I take out my sword Dark Soul Blade and easily slice a chunk of rock off one of the pillars. I then sheath my sword, pick up the rock and begin to focus my chakra inside of it and infusing it. Once I get enough Doton Chakra built up I then mold and shape the earth with both of my hands into a long staff (adding cool dragon detail like a boss in the process lol) I then take aim at your clone head. With the spear in my right hand I focus my eyes on C1's head and then finally throw the staff with all my might. It quickly takes flight and slams straight into your clones head sticking out the other side. I just used

Good, good. You could create more than one staff at a time but if you throw them simultaneously there is a good chance some of them would miss. For the next jutsu you have to form the Rat handseal and make several rock sections out of the ground. Then control them to form two larger sections you make come together and crush whatever is between them. Here is a picture.

*I close my eyes and begin to concentrate on the earth around your clone. I make the Rat hand sign and channel my Doton chakra into the ground. I then rise 6 pillars of rock out of the ground around your clone trapping him from all sides. As they all move closer and closer towards him he is then trapped until all thats left is white smoke symbolizing that your clone jutsu is dispersed from the pillars crushing him. I just used-*

Great. The next jutsu is one of the most useful earth jutsu. You will need to send chakra into the ground and transform it into fine sand that will be easy to dig through. Use this jutsu to travel through the ground and emerge a distance away.

(Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu) – Earth Release: Hiding like a mole technique

Description: The user changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth.

*I close my eye's and begin to channel and concentrate on my Doton Chakra. I then proceed to channel my Doton chakra into the ground below me shifting and changing the density of the earth into fine sand. I then proceed to sink into the sand slowly or fast depending on how fine I make the sand. I then become engulfed in the earth completely disappeared hardening the ground above me. Once underground I can sense your presence on the surface. I tunnel my way towards you and behind you. I then slowly without making a sound come out of the ground behind you trying to scare you.*

Good job. xd Here is another easy jutsu: Just point your arm at your target and manipulate the ground to raise up long spikes that will impale him. Try it out on this clone.

*I raise out my right hand and by channeling my Doton chakra through the ground below to my target the rock and earth below him raise out of the ground forming a pillar. The pillar of earth then impale your clone through the heart making him disperse.*

Pretty cool but simple jutsu.....I like it >_> xd lol

You didn't make enough pillars. Also, make sure they are sharp enough to pierce through a person. Try it again.

hmmmm elusive little clone is he? >_> well try this on for size...

*I focus my Doton chakra and channel it through the earth below traveling towards your clone. I then make the earth below your clone rise with 6 pillars of earth shaped as spikes. As soon as they come out of the ground they are very sharp and will impale your clone with ease. Coming from all angles they all impale your clone 3 through the chest, 1 in the leg, & 1 through each arm. I just used*

Now it's getting harder.....good :zonder:

*I close my eye's and begin to channel and focus on my chakra. Molding my chakra, and while channeling it to the earth around me through my left leg, I turn it into Doton Chakra. As my chakra go through the ground below me I picture in my head an earthquake. How it moves the ground below and make it shifts. I then slowly lifting my right leg up in the air beside me with knee bent. Focusing on the "Quake and Shift" of an earthquake I quickly slam my right foot down on the earth below me. As soon as my foot begins to go down I open my eye's (for effect lol). When my right foot hits the ground the force and wave of my foot shoots out a lot of Doton Chakra sending it into the ground below even further making the earth move by shifting and moving the ground with the sudden impact of Doton Chakra. The ground breaks apart, and trees begin to fall over. By using the Doton Chakra in my left leg I keep my balance during this great tremer. I just used*
