Usefull tactiques against Shadow Possesion

I am on a Naruto RPG forum (non NB), and there is this guy who is using Shikamaru bio. I need help, I need as much as possible ways to counter or neutralise Shadow possession...

I n order to use Shadow possession on He needs light. If you had a darkens jutsu that can cover Him and prevent all light getting to Him. He could never use it on you.
