Well, since the elections are coming up tomorrow, I decided to make a thread about it. I'll be closing down threads about the elections in the general discussion. Please, feel free to discuss everything about Mitt Romney, Barack Obama, or anything else related.

As always though, keep it clean and don't spam!

Obama has to win. Mitt is over the place. Who would want to vote for that? I still don't understand Mit's "5 Point" plan, it was very vague. At least Obama gave a broad statement on his plan.

Obama has been endorsed by three communist/socialist leaders nuff said. Besides that democrats and republicans are two sides to the same coin so either way your not really doing anything unique by voting democrat or republican.

Who has the other 37 %?
They're probably neutral about it.

I personally hope that Obama wins. People complain a lot about how he handles his 4 year presidential term, but considering the mess George W. Bush left him in, and the fact that the crisis pretty much burst open when he started his term, he's not doing a bad job.

For those that may say Obama did nothing in 4 years I will make a small list of the things he did in 4 years.

He Returned The Executive Branch To Fiscal Responsibility After the Bush Debacle

He Fostered Greater Transparency and Better Government, After the Excesses of the Bush Years

He Improved the Economy, Preventing a Bush Depression

-The Bush-led Great Recession was costing the economy nearly 800,000 jobs per month by the time President Obama took office. But by the end of his first year, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act created and sustained 2.1 million jobs and stimulated the economy by 3.5

- Oversaw the creation of more jobs in 2010 alone than Bush did in eight years.

- With Democrats, and almost no Republicans, implemented an auto industry rescue plan, and saved as many as 1 million jobs. Many are of the opinion that he saved the entire auto industry, and even the economy of the entire Midwest. This resulted in GM returning to its place as the top car company in the world. Romney, on the other hand, advocated for the entire industry to go belly-up.

Wall Street Reforms and Consumer Protection

- Fashioned rules so that banks can no longer use YOUR money to invest in high-risk financial instruments that work against their own customers' interests

He Ushered Through Many Changes That Enhanced Civil Rights and Anti-Discrimination

He Made Major Improvements in Foreign Relations and American Status Around the World

-Visited more countries and met with more world leaders than any previous president during his first six months in office

His Administration Treated Soldiers and Veterans with Respect That Was Missing Previously

He Refocused the Federal Government on Education

Reoriented Government to an Adult View on Science, Technology and Health Care

He Pushed Through Improvements in National Safety and Security

He Took Concrete Steps to Improve Our Environment and Address Our Energy Needs

Took Steps to Strengthen the Middle Class and Families, and to Fight Poverty

Signed an Executive Order pledging support for efforts to end the global problem of violence against women and girls.

Expanded trade agreements to include stricter labor and environmental agreements such as NAFTA.

Appointed the most diverse Cabinet in history, including more women than any other incoming president.

Also another interesting thing is Obama’s success rate in winning congressional votes on issues was an unprecedented 96.7% for his first year in office. Slightly better than President Lyndon Johnson’s success rate in 1965 was only 93% which is still quite high

will this is just the number of what obama electoral vote could be

332 for obama

206-for romney

when you think about it obama has really helped people and given his message so far.(especially for hurricane which people where shown care and people respected obama for and even some past known republicans thanked him so obama is looking good for a bit)

obama has some big states and obama has been doing good in ohio and other neutral states, the only state that may even go to romney that is neutral may be virginia or florida but obama looks good there too in those states and it seems obama can take them but i will just say that romney has a chance in those two.

romney is trying to get pennsyvania but it seems it will go to obama as well

will this is just an opinion though

Agree completely also do you want to list any of Obama accomplishments since he took office? Also Ryan is using a scare tactic to draw in more votes saying your religious freedom is at risk if Obama is reelected just one of the many scare tactics the GOP has used in the past thats how Bush got a second term

I will link the article
