Because pork as an animal has a more "disgusting" perception among people. Even for people who can eat pork it is a word of insult as in being disgusting. You don't get to see people saying 'you are such a ****ing beer' for example.

Cigartettes and alcohol can build disgust but not in a dirty way. They are not alive beings with meat, flesh and blood.

Plus pork as a meat has better and many alternatives, while smoking and alcohol does not if you want to give all up. Comparing alcohol/cigeratte restriction would be equal to restriction of all meats in Islam, which is not the case and makes people easier to decide not eating pork.

This includes not only bugs, insects, and whatever leftover scraps they find laying around, but also their own feces, as well as the dead carcasses of sick animals, including their own young.

This in itself can explain why the meat of the pig can be so dirty or at the very least not so appetizing to consume.

There a a lot more cons than pros for eating pork, thus why it is forbidden to Muslims.​

There is no direct command to abandon smoking, but since it's harmful for the body and health, it's disliked by Islam. Plus, it can be disturbing for others in public.
