Whats even worse is that the article says it was gift from a year ago... meaning these dumbasses gave their FOUR YEAR OLD son a gun... even if that gun was a BB gun and it happened to kill his sister (being two years old I could believe a BB gun could do that kind of damage) it still says a LOT about the kind of parenting that goes into giving a four year old a gun of any kind, outside of maybe a squirt gun or something like a sic-fi gun toy.

I don't think so, it states that it's a .22 calibre rifle. I could be wrong tho, I don't know much about guns. Also, it doesn't matter if it was only an air rifle. It's a weapon, and you shouldn't be giving weapons as a present to a young child.
