Due to flawed assessments and information, hundreds of thousands of Iraqi's (muslims, because that war was a war on Islam more than anything, lets cut the crap) lost their lives and millions lost their homes. Yet, the western world goes on like because their a civilised first world country, they're automatically exempt from war crimes. Blair and the rest should be put on trial as war criminals.

The whole world was up in arms when like 40 French people died. I hate to compare deaths, but hundreds of thousands >>>> France, Belgium and whatever you want to add. As a man from the UK, I really believe the heads of state should go on trial.

Not only did the innocent Iraqi civilians lose their lives, but the soldiers also died in vain due to an illegal war. Such as shame. Now that's what I call terrorism.

The main terrorists are: America (the biggest f*cking terrorists), Russia (putin is a sly two faced cockroach), UK (completely retarded) and the president of Syria Bashar Al Assad and his militants. Everthing ISIS/ISIL/AL SHABAAB/AL QAEDA have done is nothing compared to the terrorism and barbarity the aforementioned have accomplished. It deeply saddens me that I live in a country which took part in destruction of the middle east.

The Chilcot findings only confirmed what everyone and their dog already knew, which is that Blair is a war criminal to the highest degree and that the War in Iraq was a massive farce. Blaire should be impeached but judging by what happened to Clinton in the US and the FBI refusing to indict her despite finding evidence of her breaking the law, he'll more than likely walk away scot-free.

In before NaruShima defends Britain :lmao:
HashiraMadara - I consider you among the sentient beings here so tell me, how do you deal with people who are either too lazy to read or mentally incapable of understanding a couple of dozens of pages of history etc about a topic which they nevertheless love to speak out of their arses about?

In the adolescent minds of these people the invasion of Iraq was about oil - that Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Saudi, Bahrain, Oman etc all managed to use their oil reserves to attain developed world standards of living despite having no real economies notwithstanding - and because that state was a utopia, an Islamic "light unto the world."

Allow me to give you folks a dose of reality:

"Despite paeans to national unity, Iraq has been disintegrating for decades. The Kurds spent much of the past century in armed revolt against successive Arab governments in Baghdad before securing autonomy in 1991. Outside the relatively cosmopolitan capital, large segments of the country’s Shia population were locked in armed confrontation with the government since Saddam Hussein consolidated his power in 1979 until he was toppled by the US in 2003.

Within weeks of the US invasion, a Sunni insurgency flared up against the Americans and then the Shia majority now dominating the country. “The sectarianism has been here for a long time; it’s not new,” says Ziad Ajeel, a political analyst. “The Kurds refused to be ruled by the Arabs. The Shia refused to be ruled by the Sunni. Now the Sunni don’t want to be ruled by the Shia. Iraq’s history confirms that you cannot achieve your rights without the use of weapons. And that is the problem with Iraq.”

Neighbouring Syria, with its ethnic mix of Kurds, Sunni and Shia that mirrors that of Iraq, is also falling apart. There is a sense that Iraq’s demography is incompatible with the zero-sum politics that have long dominated the country and region. All three of Iraq’s main communities view themselves as aggrieved victims of history as they absolve themselves of their own sins.

“Saddam Hussein did the same thing to the Shia that Maliki is now doing to the Sunni,” says a 23-year-old Sunni man in Adhemiya district."

Now was the invasion of Iraq an illegal one perpetrated by criminals?

Yes.

But as you can see - all that invasion did was turn a pile of sh1t into a pile of ash.

The pile of faeces was Iraq prior to the invasion.

The pile of ash is Iraq today.

As for the tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians murdered in the war - there is no way to defend that.

But tell me HashiraMadara:

Why is it that Sunni Muslims like Konohas copy ninja (my suspicion that he is a Sunni Muslim is simple Bayesian reasoning, I might be wrong but I reckon it's unlikely) know all too well about the Sunni Arab civilians murdered in the invasion of Iraq (or the Sunni Arabs murdered by the Shiite/Alawite regime of Al-Asad in Syria) and yet:

These same people aren't even aware of the Kurdish children gassed to death or the countless Kurdish civilians brutally murdered over the entire history of the terrorist state known as Iraq?

Why is it that these people haven't even got a clue that being murdered into mass graves was a common occurrence for the Shia population of Iraq especially under Saddam but in fact again over much of the history of that state?

You see, people like to see what they want to see.

I always make an effort to learn about other people's states, histories and so on as to not speak out of my arse when talking about them - and in that I think I respect other people as such, even if I don't want to live in the same state with them. Now there are a few states in the Islamic world that I truly respect as being worthy of the title 'civilization' and would be saddened to see destroyed - Iran is one of them - but that is a story for another day.

Anyways to address your post directly HashiraMadara - that depends entirely on what you mean by "Britain."

If by Britain you mean my blood and soil - the English, Scottish, Welsh and Irish people as well as any other ethnic group calling Britain its only home and being loyal to the foregoing people like British (Hindu) Indians and British Chinese, and their lands on that island they call home and which is the prosperous state it is today solely due to the toils of their ancestors - then yes, I will defend it to the last drop of blood.

On the other hand I care about as much for the political class of my country as I do for aliens like Konahas copy ninja who despise the people and land that fed and gave a home to their immigrant ancestors so that their children and grandchildren could be the treacherous ingrates that they now are.

If it were up to me Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, David Cameron et al would be executed by firing squad for treason

Heck I'd sell the whole political class of the past decade to the Islamic State as slaves if it were up to me personally.

But then I'd also deport ingrates like Konohas copy ninja back to their ancestral lands in the utopia known as the Islamic world so he no longer has to feel any shame about having zero loyalty to the people and land he unconvincingly attempts to connect himself too.
